What I like about this guy is that he doesn’t just bring the s tier meta weapons onto his drops. He tries everything and shows that they can work. Truly shows that you don’t always have to be listening to the creators that solo level ten in 30 mins to have fun.
@@luchifare4940 Its good against squids, like sure u can use a crossbow or purifier but that's loadout dependent too. It takes MANY shots to get through a shield with a bow or purifier whereas u can break a shield with one mag (quickly) from a carbine because of that fire rate.
@@luchifare4940 I never said they were better specifically at taking out targets, I said they were better all around for multi purpose use. U can take out shields from the carbine more effectively than u can the purifier for instance. Like I don't understand how u missed that I broke it down in my last comment, lol.
I would love to see in the future, a passive arm set that hits around the driver itself. For example just like PP in the viper warbond, it would make you control the wheel almost perfectly the way you want to control it. And just for a cherry on top, not only allow the driver to shoot from the drivers seat. But implement a built in gun just for him, sorta like a cops spot light but switch it for a gun.
My new loadout I was using the Carbine but it just has too much recoil for my liking. I went with the STA 52 which is basically a full length version of that with slight less fire rate, better recoil and more ammo in the mags. Might have less ammo overall I think but I mitigate that by using a supply pack which I need anyway running a HMG in tandem as well.
Just take Heavy Machine Gun support weapon with heavy viper armor (to reduce recoil) and you can take on anything in illuminate missions... Including the walkers (shoot their legs). I usually take Jump Jet + HMG and Grenade Pistol (to blow up ufos). You are free to take whatever you want as your primary. I usually take Dominator or Dilligence Counter Sniper as primary in case I run out of ammo on the HMG. Take napalm or gas grenades to take care of zombies.
Hey BG you should run an all flame build vs illuminate. Loadout: Primary: breaker incendiary Secondary: grenade pistol Grenade: incendiary Stratagems: -Eagle napalm (or incendiary mines) -napalm barrage -flame sentry -flamethrower Armor: electrical conduit (so you can flame down a harvester)
I like it, but personally I find using one of the Med-Penetrating primaries to take out the Arc fin on the harvester before moving in with the flamethrower to demolish it. Even with the Arc resistance, it just sucks to take unavoidable damage, you'll eventually lose that war of attrition when multiple harvesters start showing up and you start running out of stims.
The bad thing is that it's the same normal weapon and the only thing that changes is its skin. They could at least put a different weapon or this same version with more functions and more power. The sawed-off shotgun should certainly have medium penetration.
for me i care less about time to kill and more about how much ammo i need to kill something. sure i can kill the overseers with light armor pen, but it's gonna take me a whole mag, at the same time if i use medium pen sure it kills quick but now i have less ammo
wasp for me is the perfect answer to everything that annoyed the hell out of me minus the big Heavies unit like tripod / bile titan / factory striders / small enemies it a fair trade for a support weapons that literally can kill all medium and small heavies

The fact that it has a red dot sight is reason enough for me to pick this over any other assault rifle (that I have unlocked).
AMR is 4 shots to the joint for tripods. Feels pretty good
I use the DCS now, then Stalwart as support for Voteless and Overseers, plus breaking the shields quick.

stock lib has enough power to down ship shield in one mag
The new overpriced rifle is better than this one imo. Better fire rate better magazine, slower reload but can be remedied by new armor.

Primaries should be capable of killing every enemy in some way, so you can contribute in fighting against Goliath class entities.
The RPM and accuracy is really good on this gun so it makes up for everything else
