Thanks for explaining the Equation of time complication, I understood it for the first time... and WOW!!! together with the moonphase and sunrise and sunset, what a celestial watch. My question: Panerai used to make these great movments too.. equation of time, or the JLC movement used in the Pam 190, or even the micro-rotor movements... but now it seems all they do is their cheapo p900 movement inside pretty cases. What do you think of where this brand is headed?
Definitely a cool complication. If you like complicated watches, check out auctions on pocket watches. They are a bitch to sell, but you can get cool movements.
In addition, 34mm to 36mm Blancpain is a fountain of value for gold and complicated movements. I bought a little micro rotor gold Chronograph for under $5k in 18k gold. I am old and tall though. I could care less if people think my watch is small.

Hi great video I have an AP royal oak 2007 #15300.ST .1220 ST .01 I believe F series box n papers I love this watch but can you tell me if this is still a valuable collector watch
I have a couple of APs, a 26331OR chocolate dial on leather strap & the 15400OR silver/white again on the strap, I also have an 18kt Rolex yachtmaster Tahitian dial. They all get noticed but I think most non watch enthusiasts have no idea of value & perceive a Rolex to be the most valuable.
I will often get asked questions about the APs, what is it, & I’ve never seen it before, but to most people my wife included no watch is worth the sort of money we think they are worth or paid!
Thanks for the very educational video. I had no idea there was so much beauty and refinement in the brand. In that regard, what do you think of the Huitième line? It seems rather bland, as you say, an affordable way into the brand for a 40mm watch. Or is there something more to it?

They bundle hot pieces with unwanted pieces. Overall some of these buyers are profiteering overall.

Sorry but I really don't get the fact that someone would get a watch not to wear it, the only reason I can see is the ad sold you a load of watches that you didn't want to get to the piece you did want, which is madness.
Rolex are a marketing company that happens to also make watches.
They are a mass produced machine made watch,that's it ,if you actually want a handmade watch with unravelled accurately delivered timekeeping you have to have a spring drive from GS. Also you don't have to play silly games with the ad . Rolex now are pretty bad, either you overpaid or got the run around from Rolex Ad's, which ever way you look at it. You have been taken for a idiot.just my opinion
I want to get a really small MDM Hublot in Quartz because I love them, and I think people who hate Hublot are idiots.
