This is the same MJ who called out his high school coach at his HOF induction ceremony.
If Jordan worked at CVS as a clerk he’d be be an obnoxious, narcissistic, weirdo that people who know him wouldn’t want anything to do with him. However, because he can hoop, his fans think that his personality is wonderful but ironically if they met him it’s likely that he’d give them a full dosage of that CVS weirdo described above.
@frankp7270 if you haven’t noticed, no one’s questioning Jordan’s greatness as a ball player so relax coming in this thread with your clumsy, outta control crash landing, off topic reply. Once you relax you’ll see that Jordan’s personality is what the original comment is talking about.
IT is disingenuous. MJ didn’t say he hates Isaiah on the last dance. He said he hated IT at that time. I watched the last dance 4 times. He also said he “nothing can tell me that he wasn’t an Ahole at the time”. IT needs to go back and rewatch the last dance without hate in his heart and he will see Jordan was speaking about at that time.
yeah i was thinking the same thing. people like to spin shit for their convenience these days, would expect more from an OG tho. just keep it all the way a buck 💯
No matter how you feel about it. Listen to IT when he’s talking about something & someone he knows way better than you ever will. That man felt/was disrespected & I’m sure it’s more to it. & plus he clearly state’s interviewers are asking him that question all the time. NO MATTER HOW YOU FELT OR INTERPRETED IT
Magic and Thomas were actually friends so they actually had a friendship/relationship to patch up. Jordan and Thomas weren't friends. They had basketball respect for one another but they weren't friends. There's not anything to patch up between them two.
Really bro? Do you know why Magic and Isiah stopped talking? Magic contracted hiv, players were afraid to play with him, he had already retired from basketball, Isiah was saying he was probably gay publicly, to the press. Mind you Isiah and Magic hugged each other before playing against each other in the playoffs. They were actually friends. But what happened afterwards, the years of slander, when Magic didn't know how his health was going to deteriorate, when everyone except him thought he might die, that was objectively a hard pill to shallow. Whatever is left of that friendship is thanks to Magic's forgiving nature. That must have been extremely hard to patch up, as you say.
Well let's keep it real. He didn't call IT an asshole and say he hated him because of his personality. It was because of what IT led with the Detroit Pistons, the violence and non-basketball plays. The attempts to hurt players while playing defense. It's also driven by the unsportsmanlike behavior he and the Pistons exhibited when he walked off the court directly in front of the Bulls when the Pistons got swept. Acting like none of that stuff happened and Jordan is just being "mean" is the epitome of selective memory and selective outrage. That being said, Jordan in the same breath also gave IT his props and called him the second greatest PG of all time behind Magic Johnson. In other words, Jordan said exactly what he meant in that interview.
SO tired reading about the big bad, bully pistons. During THAT era, EVERONE played VERY physical... it wasnt until Jordan came into the league AND was LOSING EVERY YEAR, that the NBA CHANGED the RULES to allow his greatness to shine. Jordan IS THE GOAT... NO DOUBT.... HOWEVER, he did not get his team past the Pistons until HE started Complaining to the league AND going to the media to talk about the team he was LOSING to each year... The Business side of the NBA realized they needed to protect Jordan, so they DID change a lot of the rules... this is FACT... Does NOT negate the fact that again, Jordan was the best individual player I ever saw to this day... He was just as mush of an A-HOLE to his team as he thought Isiah was... This is ALSO FACT... That era was physical.. check out film of Boston, The Lakers, The Celtics, and YES, The BULLS before the rules changed... Guards DID NOT GO INTO THE LANE without getting crunched... they KNEW most teams INCLUDING the BULLS had a NO-Layup rule... Again... Jordan was and is still the goat... No one is saying Jordan is perfect, or that is feelings about Zeke are validated. At the same time, Jordan has spoken about it a handful of times, but Zeke discusses it a couple times a year, it seems like. That's on him.

Jordan is working behind the scene maligning him. If Jordan looks down on Isiah Thomas as most Jordan fanatics think so, why won't he leave out Thomas' name out of his lips like he's doing with Charles Barkley the past decade? It is because Jordan is milking the one time Isiah Thomas walked out on him. Jordan is an A-hole and an Uncle Tom. They ask him about it often. And also this man was stripped of a chance to Represent his country after missing it due to politics (1980 Boycott), he got a right to dislike it. Isiah and the Pistons don't get enough respect.
Damn that. If MJ had publicly started the disagreement, let him publicly squash it. But from what I heard in the interviews, Zeke didn't offer his condolences when MJ's father got murdered. That could be a reason MJ's allowing there to be bad blood between them for so long.

Those three beat everyone at one point in time since all three are champions. The distinguishing factor is that NO ONE team has beaten all three, except him and the Pistons.

I've always thought Isiah's resentment of MJ originated with Bobby Knight, his college coach at Indiana, lavishing the highest praise imaginable on Jordan after coaching him in the 84 Olympics. Knight stated MJ was "the best damn basketball player I've ever been associated with" or something to that effect and publicly urged his GM friend with the Portland Trailblazers to draft MJ even though they already had Clyde Drexler. When MJ entered the NBA, Isiah was three seasons removed from playing under Knight at Indiana, where Isiah was and still is the greatest player in program history.
MJ was just honest about how he felt at the time following the walk out incident. So there's no need for him to say I didn't mean it. I'm sure he's indifferent now but at the time that's how he felt and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure many ppl felt the same way about MJ .. they just never expressed it. Also for completeness sake MJ also said that IT was the second best PG ever in his opinion .. so there's an element of respect also.
MJ said that in 2020 and was stating how he felt then, all while praising Zeke's talent. I wanna know what the real reason for the rift is that started 30yrs sgo. They clearly respect each other in some form.
@D. nada • The real rift is after IT disrespected MJ they blocked Isaiah from the dream team. IT didn’t get another chance to walk off the court without shaking hands, Karma is a b…
Isaiah led a freezeout in an all star game and that started the issues. Then the whole thing happened with Jordan saying he wouldn't play in the olympics if Thomas played which really took it to another level. When Isaiah walked off the court after the Bulls finally beat them without shaking anybody's hand that was something the Jordan would never forget or forgive. You can tell is still burns him up to this day. If Jordan hasn't forgiven Barkley for what he said about him failing as an owner he's never forgiving Thomas.

Nobody was going to mess with Jordan in Chicago.
Jordan put Chicago on the map and brought them prominence and Six Championships and Isiah Thomas is jealous.
Yeah, he laid that out before he slayed him. It was his plan all along. May you all drown in your own vomit.

IT is disingenuous. MJ didn’t say he hates Isaiah on the last dance. He said he hated IT at that time. I watched the last dance 4 times. Magic and Thomas were actually friends so they actually had a friendship/relationship to patch up. Jordan and Thomas weren't friends. They had basketball respect for one another but they weren't friends. There's not anything to patch up between them two.
Exactly
Not true Jordan and Isiah was very close with each other for years plus MJ even dated his niece and also staying with his aunty house.
How do you know bro? When he just said their families are cool till this day? But it’s MJ y’all fans he weird.
Thank you!

BUT he leveraged his talent to force the NBA to change the game for HIM... His legacy is 6 RINGS... But his legacy is ALSO one of HIS being what he calls others...

I think Zeke is more sensitive about this because of how fans and casual observers feel about it, than because of anything that happened with Jordan. If he doesn't want to talk about it, he should say no comment and move on from it, that would be the more mature route. No one is saying Jordan is perfect, or that is feelings about Zeke are validated. At the same time, Jordan has spoken about it a handful of times, but Zeke discusses it a couple times a year, it seems like. That's on him.

Jordan is working behind the scene maligning him.

Did Zeke ever apologize to John Stockton when he accused Stockton of taking his spot on the Dream Team before the Last Dance aired, did Stockton demand a public apology or private meeting with Zeke, Stockton just let it go, on a interview John Sally said Zeke dislike for MJ started when Zeke return to Chicago and his nephew complete outfit he was wearing was Jordan's, probably the same Nephew that was staying with MJ
Zeke still crying for attention 33 years later. Without the bulls feud and Jordan you barely exist.
First off, who called him for MJ?
1992: The Breakdown
2020: TLD/Isiah is an azz-hole
2023: NO PERSONAL APOLOGY
Clearly, MJ meant what he said, cause he said what he meant!
ISIAH PLEASE SEEK PROFESSIONAL THERAPY! LET IT GO!!!
Zeke claim he honest but acts like he didn’t play a role in the beef. He the one that played on a team of dirty players, he’s the one that didn’t want to shake hands after he lost the bulls. Jordan not thinking about Zeke
Facts
I was born in 1986.....but I read mad (growing up) autobiograhies........from my elders before us....MJ wore the Air Jordan shit in the slam dunk contest in 85...his rookie yr......Isiah...Gervin..and even Magic felt it was disrespectful (Out of MJs "For the Love of the Game bio himself...his words)...So the All-Star was the next game...they freezed him out...Pistons had one of the next games..he busted them for 49 points....true story......
You should actually watch that '84 All-Star game and decide for yourself whether MJ was froze out or if that's cap. It's on RUclips. Don't believe ere'thing you read youngsta...#TrueStory
Why don’t you read happy autobiographies?
@@TL2354 Nigga...I was a kid....I read everything. And everything... especially ball.
@@bOmBAsTiK I study body language experts. Isiah was hesitant to give MJ the ball multiple occasions...And it was 85 in Indianapolis....MJ was at Carolina in 84.
@@bOmBAsTiK exactly Mike didn’t get off like he wanted to so he created a narrative cause from watching the game that was a terrible display of freezing a player out
It is amazing, Jordan doesn’t mention this man’s name, yet Jordan leaves in this man’s head, he leaves in his soul!!!. By the way, Isaiah is not obligated to answer questions about Jordan, he can say, “not answering that, next question”. The man said what he said, he is standing on it Isaiah. We all believe he meant it, now you need to accept it and move on. You have not done that!!
Bro u can’t spell live? Yeah he’s not obligated but but he decided to do so. So he made it his obligation
@@markamica1755 , and therefore, since he has made it his obligation by CHOICE, it demonstrates saltiness and inability to move on about something that happened years ago. Sad, because the person he continues to speak about acts like he doesn’t exists, so it a very sad look on Isaiah’s part. He acts like Jordan LEAVES in his head; lol, lol, sorry, had to do it because it got to you!!!. Parece que Jordan vive en su cabeza!!. I can do it in 2 more languages, I bet you can’t!!!
And Jordan could have not mentioned it in the last dance yet he did. Gtfoh
I thought he was finna end that with freedom and justice 🌟
I did too. Only Chicagoans get it lol.
Solid

There is no feud. A feud requires at least 2 folks arguing or going against or recognizing each other. MJ ain't thinking about Zeke at all. But Zeke allows MJ to run rent free in his mind.
MJ the GOAT but Isiah always been a real one. Stayed close to the players, never trashes the modern game. A true statesman of the game! MJ known to be petty that's why him and Barkley, pippin ain't cool no more.
@JustBoomin Didn't say MJ did, but a lot of older players do. Isiah never has.
Jordan doesn’t trash talk none of these fools…They started the BS then got mad when Jordan didn’t care enough to respond
Yea he's a real one. A real crybaby. Dude Jordan uses petty stuff on the court to embarrass u. He not doing none of that since he retired
@JustBoomin it was MJ who was against the players getting more money back when the lockout happened in 2012. Look it up.

Isiah Thomas is a scumbag and a liar who lied to the police about his overdose and blamed it on his daughter.
Isiah Thomas also harassed a woman who was an employee with the Knicks.
Mike did see Isiah at the NBA 75th anniversary celebration.
I think he’s finally hit all the podcast available with the same story whining
He ain't whining, they keep asking him the same question, at least he's man enough to answer it
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zeke will be on the chitlin circuit next month crying!!
I would love to hear an audiobook narrated by IT
Isiah burned his bridge with Magic before and he burned his bridge with Bird too. Ya'll keep listening to this man if you want.
MJ has felt this way since I was a kid in the early 90s, it's not new. It's only new to casual fans who watched The Last Dance. I'd be SHOCKED to see an apology.
Maybe he should drop it also for his own peace of mind. 😢
Agreed.
its hard to drop it when he keeps getting asked about it during interviews, ya know
@@T-bone9 well tell them u not talking about that no more
@Yvonne Shelton • I agree IT should drop it because at this point he is the only one speaking on it Mj has left the building long long time ago.
