I’ve heard both. Thing is in a box with parallel side you never going to eliminate standing waves. Neither will it direct air to the ports..

Hey , could I put 2 infinity kappa 12’s in a bandpass box.
RUclips won’t let me link the box but it’s the ground shaker tuned at 34hz,

Also all 90 degree internal corners should have 45 degree angle. Picture the flow of air no different than that of water.
