I think the reason Ulreich struggles is due to his stance when preparing for a save - the foot movement (like a batsman in cricket to get the body moving) is good but he jumps far too high. Those less than a second delays seem to hurt his ability to get to a level in the elite. Great keeper either way and has done really well for us when we needed him the most.

According to media reports, Manuel Neuer wants to return to the field no later than the end of October and immediately enter the starting lineup, despite the fact that he has not played due to injury since December 2022 - sitting on the bench is not part of his plans and Tuchel does not want to conflict with the legend club. An earlier return is possible.
Let's see where this leads... It's one thing to perform well in training, another thing to show in a match the level that number one should have. I personally doubt that Neuer will play at the level of his prime - given his age and severity of injury don't see any chance of a full return
