That's some great timing James. I bought a flight jacket just yesterday, and it even has the shearling lining cut from the bottom like the one you have. I hope it lasts me a lifetime. Awesome video as always, cheers.
Back in 2014 I bought a wool made in England coat for a bargain price of £10 from a vintage fair, I pull it out every autumn/winter. It's kinda heavyweight and considering I only paid a tenner the quality is actually pretty good.
Hey James. I remember you had a denim long parka from the FOG era, i'm wondering if you still wear it. I really want a pilot Bane jacket but they're really expensive and i haven't thrifted anything yet so i don't know much. Anyways, great videos as always, really glad you're back. Greetings from Greece !
Yes I still have that, I tried it on the other day actually! It’s a little small on me but a really cool piece. You will definitely find some vintage ones for cheap, I also remember Zara did a Bane jacket a few seasons ago for a really decent price so keep an eye on their website!
Think I remember the pickups video you did back in the day when you first picked up that aviator jacket, such a timeless piece that kinda represents the meaning of this vid!
Barbour didn’t popularize the look, they invented it. Sage green is the main colour they sell - though olive green, brown navy and black are often available.
hey James great vid as always! would you happen to know what size your aran jumper is? we're a very similar build and the fit on yours is exactly what I'm looking for. cheers!
As someone who's into clothes. I don't understand why style experts tell everyone to start with shoes. I don't want people to focus on my feet. I want them to focus on my upper body and face. Upstairs is more important anyways. It's what we focus on when working out
Shoes make or break the outfit. A basic outfit with good shoes will look good but if your shoes dont match the vibe you can have the coolest jacket and best fitting pants on and it will still look meh. Having good shoes isnt about having the shoes be your statement piece, its about laying a foundation for the vibe of your outfit
@@LeadLeftLeon If we are talking about extremes obviously one piece of clothing that is completely awful will throw off the entire fit. What I am saying is that a good pair of shoes can elevate an otherwise plain outfit and push the vibe of the outfit in a certain stylistic direction in a way that a good jacket or pants cant
@@Zockanumber1 This where I differ from most. Japanese denim sparked my interest in clothes. Now I focus on upper body. Any fixation on shoes has always been temporary.
Thank you 🙏 another great video timeless jacket 👏👏👏🇬🇧
I really need an aviator jacket and a Barbour wax jacket for this autumn/winter. Solid pieces and solid video man!
They will last a lifetime! Jumping onto your video soon, I’ve been slacking this weekend. Hope all is well bro ✌️
want*

That’s awesome! Can’t go wrong with a sturdy jacket like that. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Really interesting!
Thanks!

Nice man what brand is that? I always find random vintage pieces have the best quality!
It doesn't have a brand, it just says made in England and the how to care tag

Yeah i really want one. These jackets don't go on sale as well which is annoying. Seing your style evolve is refreshing mate. Cheers !

Glad I could help man!
Love these capsule wardrobe videos
They’re fun to make!

Good to know - lovely jacket!
Any chance you can do a video on "casual cocktail attire"? Getting a bunch of wedding invitations with that on them
Cocktail attire isn't something I'm very good at. But it's a cool idea, maybe I could give it a go!
hey James great vid as always! would you happen to know what size your aran jumper is? we're a very similar build and the fit on yours is exactly what I'm looking for.
cheers!
Hi mate! Mine is size medium 😀
Love all your pieces. It would be better if you give some similar piece and availble to buy online (uniqli, zara...)
That’s a good idea, I’ll have a go at that!
hey James! what pants are you wearing in the video?
These are the ASOS wide trousers. Not sure if they make them anymore but COS do something similar which I’ll drop into the description.
What pants are you wearing in this video?
These are the wide leg cropped chinos from ASOS! They’re usually out of stock though which is annoying.
Where is the best place to look for the jackets? I can only find some for several hundred euros.
For me eBay and Depop. I have got all of these jackets from those two shops. Sometimes you will find them in charity shops as well for good prices.
Where's the tshirt from
Uniqlo! Will drop a link in the description

Yeah I know what you mean! Although a good pair of shoes can definitely compliment an outfit.

@@Zockanumber1 That point can also be made for jacket or pants, no? That if either are crap, it'll make the outfit trash
