I think ending a video about the inner workings of the empire with Nemics manifesto is artistically brilliant. It truly shows the disease of the empire slowly consuming itself like a snake biting down on it's own tail.
Of course that only applies to the individual. For government itself, the God Emperor made it clear that pharonic monarchies, vast aristocratic empires, etc, were the path to destruction. Humanity must spread and grow to survive, not be constricted by bureaucracy.
"A hero is only as good as their villain.” This video should be an induction video for every disney staff on the Star Wars project team by showing that the empire isn't a one dimensional villian for the sake of our heroes, but a systemitised, regimentent organisation that should be effective at what they do - Coerce control across the galaxy.

I really hope they double down on her for season 2 of Andor. Absolutely phenomenal to see an Imperial that isn't dissuaded by the Empires ways but isn't just all powerful or weak and is struggling to the order both within the ranks and on the public.

As always Thrawn was right, "The Empire is a magnificent construct." Far greater than it's predecessor and successor, it's only flaw is having fools like Tarkin or Krennic being in command of it's advancement. Which is why I'm whole heartedly certain that if Thrawn ruled the Empire from the very beginning, then there would have been no need for a Rebellion and the Galaxy would have truly been unified under the most brilliant mind it has ever produced. LOVE YOUR WORK ALWAYS!!!! Can't wait to see the next one. I hope it's centered on Palpatine's decades long Contingency plan (from Operation Cinder to the Final Order).
@@samalvey8168 that's why many people love Thrawn and why some, had he lived beyond Legends, could have created the "Galactic Federation" in Star Wars. A few years ago, Eckhart Ladder posted a video asking this question: had Thrawn survived and beaten the New Republic in Zahn's books. Thrawn hated that the racial elements inside the Empire fit against non-humans (the same groups that became part of the Separatist Alliance against the Republic during the Clone Wars). He could have gone much further than the Republic by centralizing the galaxy after the Paplatine's Empire. Despite their good intentions, the New Republic could not still centralize & unify many planets with differing statuses, beliefs, etc., after Episode 6. Look at how the inner colonies treated the outer colonies in many sci-fi stories like Halo, Star Trek, etc. Star Wars's geopolitical landscape is still similar to many of these works.
Krennic wasn't a fool. He was competent but was constantly being stabbed by real fools like Tarkin above him and incompetent subordinates below him. He came from a working-class background and steadily climbed the ladders, he earned his position unlike many others
Mon Mothma is suuuch a fascinating character. Genevieve O'Reilly is such an incredible actor. I really truly hope we get to see more of her. What a talent!

What do you mean? The one we got showed plenty of the Imperial perspective through Morgan and Barriss. Just like how Tales of the Jedi was about what it means to be a Jedi, seen through the lens of Dooku and Ahsoka.
@@tommyp440 okay true might be aggressive but like from the officers, thrawn, tarkin, etc. idk andor might have what I want but haven’t watched it yet. I think my major problem with tales of the empire is the characters they used, i didn’t really care about in the same way as tales of the Jedi (though maybe my opinion will change over time. It took me forever to watch the dokku episodes) I was just watching it to see barris die because she makes so mad. Long rant to say, give me a Dolores in HR story or something like andor
These Galactic Empire Tributes are now on my watchlist for Star Wars Tributes. Andor really did have good storytelling and offered a more in-depth of the Imperial workings behind the stormtroopers and Navy captains from the OT.

This was such a good edit, just wow! The only thing I wish is that you included Crosshair shooting Nolan when Thrawn was talking about creating a weak and disillusioned military, since the disillusionment is precisely what happened with Crosshair during TBB.
The Empire had so much potential if it weren't built and led by the Sith. We got to see that potential in Legends' Fel Empire which is basically run by a sect of Jedi. These "Jedi" are the Imperial Knights. Knights loyal to their Emperor, to their people, and to the future of the Galaxy. It is a shame Thrawn was not alive to see the Fel Empire. Long live the Fel Empire. Long live Marasiah Fel, descendant of Anakin Skywalker. Long may she reign.
It is interesting to see the Empire more portrayed as an order that came to be strong and able to stand on its own feet steadfast in the face of rebellion in claim. And then over time as more and more rebel cells popped up and cracks started to show from the bottom up you see the panic and anger in the officers and leadership start to show more and more often.

Had Sidious listened to people like Dedra and Thrawn and scrapped Project: "Stardust" early on in His reign, spreading out the funding, the resources and the manpower by spending them on projects like the Twin Ion Engine multiple-role Starfighter or " Defender" , the Dark Trooper Program and devised a more flexible Naval Doctrine and Fleet, His Empire would have lasted far longer.

And yet the Galactic Republic lasted 25,000 years. The Empire didn't even manage 25.

ISB and COMPNOR are the most competent branches of the Empire.
And the most dangerous and draconian.
They are anything but competent in Andor. The Empire had Cassian imprisoned for several months and they never realized it.
