I think you might have shortchanged Splinter's articulation rating. The wrists are fine, because under the robe and further up the arm there is rotation in the forearm, making the orientation of the wrist hinge just fine. And the ankle joints are also designed in the best way. The rotation is above the ankle, giving you leftright movement, and the forefoot upon which rats stand, has hinge AND swivel, allowing for a foot rocker.
Mine has a black mark dk why but otherwise pretty nice figure.
Speaking of ninja, i think you can try articulated icons from the fwoosh. I really want to know your opinion on those figures.

I’ve just got into these, got the 2 foot soldiers and they’re awesome! Only thing is they’re hard to keep standing! Any ideas or tips...? Are there any stands or something to that effect...?
So would you say single pack releases are highly likely?
Would only make sense since they did it for the turtles. Question is will be a gamestop exclusive again when those folks are bleeding?

What is that stand called?
First time I've heard they changed Shredder's face for this release. That's good to know. I got my set not too long ago but just haven't gotten around to opening it yet. It's the first convention exclusive *anything* that I've gotten (having lucked out online, since I live much too far to attend any con), and I guess part of me just doesn't want to crack it open as a result.
no other reviews you watched said the face is different?
Yours is the only channel I go to for figure reviews, anything else I've heard about them was on social media around the time people were getting them, and I hadn't seen anyone bring up the face change.
It's a solid release no doubt about it even though some of the decisions were, in my opinion, poorly made and there were some big mistakes also (those Shredder hands...). Is that elastic band really there just so you can insert the weapons? If it is I think it could have been ignored. I don't collect hipper realistic action figures, no real action movies or series figures for me. I know Neca some times injures the articulation to benefit the aesthetics and as long as they don't do it like McFarlane used to it's ok for me. I also know that some other companies are able to do both good aesthetics and articulation but the price point is a bit higher so again it's a matter of opinion and decision not mistake so overall I think Neca does a good job more often then not. Thank you Anthony.
Had to watch this review again since they just came out at gamestop and finally got my hands on em. Articulation could be a smidge better but still great figs.
Just got Shredder. He's amazing, just wish he had more of an ab crunch.

I know it was probably an actor likeness issue but I feel the 2nd foot soldier should have just been Tatsu.
So you'd have Chuck, Shredder, Splinter, and Tatsu.
At least one of those Foot Soldiers is the guy from Michelangelo's duel thus his name is Chuck.
I still kind of prefer my 90s movie Splinter. He may have severely limited poseability, but he is still fuzzy.

Handling a Neca figure is nerve-wracking. Always fragile.
The exact opposite of my experiences with neca.
Yeah especially neca predator figures.wristblades and plasma caster very fragile.thats why im switching to hiya toys 3.75 predator line(1st figure, guardian predator is on its way).i have 4 NECA preds but i always wanted these figs in this size.now my pred can give my spin masters batman a bit of a slap lol.
