- I try to play 10 Mario Kart online races, but if I don't get 1st, I play the previous Mario Kart game. I start with Mario Kart Tour, and keep going until I either play 10 races, or lose in Mario Kart Wii. Let's see long I can last, and how rusty I may be at some of the games!

@Chazzerine there's still some good reasons to play MK8 over Deluxe, even with a Switch:
- Better online (like for real Switch's online is really disgusting in performance for a paid one...)
- Mods (Yep, lots of mods on the Wii U hacking scene, where the Switch is active in hacks, there isn't a lot of people making game mods for it...)

pr44 As much as I adore Mario Kart Wii, unlocking everything was really hard. Maybe it was because I was a child when I first played and completed it, but the CPU rubber-banding was insane.
Iron Blaze That’s what makes it so much better in my opinion. Cause when you finally unlocked something it felt good because you had to grind for it and spent countless hours. I like that much more than other types of “challenges”

you can buy the cartridge for mario kart ds for like 10 bucks on ebay, and you can play ds cartridges on 3ds. Would definitely recommend picking one up.

This feel weird to see 7 power up when the 8 power up sorta made sense.
You forgot about Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. I know it's an arcade game, but I'm sure there's a way to emulate it.
Not gonna lie, I've only played MKWii but the other games just don't look that appealing. MK7 looks pretty good I guess but MK Tour? Why is the latest game so bad? And MK8 looks OK but no way am I downgrading to shorter tracks. The race is finished before it's begun. It's such a shame Nintendo couldn't make any decent MK games since Wii.

Use Wiimmfi / CTGP, after Nintendo discontinued their online services the community brought it back.
I don't count MK Tour as part of the Series. Mario Kart with touch controls is terrible - no proper controls. It's the kind of game where Mario Kart professionals can't come first because of the blue shells, with no way to dodge, or get a major lead.
Also you have to pay to play as Mario and the cups that you play take peoples profiles and make them cpus

( If Mario kart Wii still had active "legal official" servers then you would lose at Mario Kart Ds but if Ds Servers were still active then you would officially lose at Mario kart Double Dash as online servers didn't exist in that game )

Also, MK8 on the Wii U really isn't as dead as people would like to think. Even a ranked Splatoon lobby fills up in like 15 seconds during peak hours! It's mostly the people who can't afford a Switch (a Wii U + MK8 is less than a Switch Lite nowadays!) or who bought a Wii U to transfer their dead Wiis.

There are custom servers for the game, such as Wiimmfi. I really recommend doing só. It works almost flawlessly

Challenge idea: if you lose, you have to go the next game starting with mariokart ds, and you’ll have to follow that games moveset for the next game! For example: since you can’t trick in mariokart ds, then you won’t be able to trick in mariokart wii!

I didnt know MK8 WiiU even had the servers still up. Havent played that game AT ALL since early 2017. Only MK7, MK8DX and MKWii.
