Great video lads, kudos for the clean up. Definately a spotted Ray the little one. Blondes have spots all the way to the edges of the wings and with spotted rays the spots stop before the edge of the wings.

Cracking video again mate quite a few cod being caught of shoreham area ranging from 3pound to 10pound and lots of nice bass ranging 5lbs 9lbs if the harbour arms
Nice video again lads I fish right on the end of the point and had cracking bass in the summer at night
Or end of the point low water to the left off the seaweed beds good for codling at winter

It is a lovely mark that, sadly it is common to see rubbish on most South Wales marks -first time I fished there I picked up 2 carrier bags full of strongbow cans, bait wrappers ect. Nice fish though it was definitely a spotted ray - spots don't go all the way to the edge whereas a blonde the spots do. You just need a Small Eyed Ray now!

Newcastle and South Shields are over rated mate I’m from Scarborough North Yorkshire and on my door step is Filey brigg the famous deep water rock mark has the record of the biggest shore caught coal fish 24lb 11oz cod central around there too most competition winners get the biggest bag on Filey brigg search it well worth a go beautiful scenery too on the Jurassic coast can’t recommend it enough

why did ye set up so high up on the rock and not down closer to the water
Hi mate can I ask what difference it makes having your multiplier so low on the butt? I’ve seen so many people with set low I’ve never tried it. Thanks for your time
Horses for courses doug..... In my eyes the lower the reel the more of the rod your using when casting.... Everyone is different it's just where you feel most comfortable

As a person who is right handed and used the reel in a high up position for years !which really hurt my right shoulder ! When I changed to the reel being low and the left hand now in charge off the spool it was a game changer !! Greater distance and no pain .. on the negative!!! It does not feel right playing a fish with reel down low 😕
