Nice display ;) Is your sword the renaissance sidesword by Peter Regenyei? If yes I would like to know your impressions about it, in terms of weight, balance, durability or whatever... I'm looking for reviews since I'm thinking of purchasing my first sword but I still don't have a very clear idea. Thanks!
The blade is a Darkwood Armory destreza-training blade, generally suitable for both 15th and 16th century swords. But the sword only has a simple hilt with loops protecting the index finger held around the crossguard, which means that it is more a "side sword" than a rapier. What we today think of as a rapier always has a more protective hilt.
Thanks for sharing these very informative bits! Much appreciated!
This is Thrand! Nice drill.
+ThegnThrand Happy you like it!

What's his sword? Is it a rapier because it looks pretty cool.
