We're running an 04 Sprinter Leisure Travel class B and are getting 22 MPG (120K). What are you getting for mileage? We're thinking about moving up a notch is size.
@@ontheroadwithron2432 Ya theT1N platform seems to be a one off platform. High MPG and no DEF. We like the looks of your rig and your videos have given us some good insight into that chassis... we like it. Thanks for the videos and for replying, I appreciate it.
Thanks Ron always good to see your videos. Guess I need to exercise mine I don’t think it’s been started since August. I’ll have to pull it outside since mine stays inside when I’m not using it. Cheers
Your presentation of information, Ron, is straight forward and very easy to understand. I have a question on a video about the installation of a Hellwig sway bar I'm preparing to install on my 2104 Winnebago view. The Hellwig comes in two sizes, 27.5" and 29", from where on the attachment points is the measurement taken. Thanks and keep up the good work.
@@ontheroadwithron2432 YOU and your videos are an inspiration and I cannot wait to get my next motorhome, God willing! Greetings from an Englishman 🇬🇧 in Arabia! ☺
What model generator is in your rv? Thanks for the tip! Im a touring musician about to get a winnebago eon 3500 turbo ... so excited to find your page because I work on my car and moto already and needed a guru for this benz. You rock!!!
Hi Ron, I really enjoy all your videos!!! I have 2020 Winnebago View/Navion 24J. Which model Viair air compressor that you recommend. I preferred smallest for space and weight saving as long as works. Thank you Ron!
Hi Ron, Enjoy your video and information on changing oil on the generator. I just have a questions regarding the motorhome it self. 1) have you tow a vehicle behind your motor home? 2) if you tow a vehicle behind your motor home, what is the weight of your tow vehicle? I watch several youtube channel and still couldn't figure it out how much weight my motorhome can safely tow. I have a Mercedes Sprinter chassis same as you (3500 dual rear wheels with 11,030 LB GVWR) just a different manufacture. Thank you, Pharon
I thought this might answer your question, my 2006 Mini Cooper weighs 2300lbs. I tow it behind my 2016 Winnebago View and have had very good experience .
Air filter at 60K. Fuel filters around 30/35K miles. I did remove and blow off the air filter at my first schedule B maintenance but have not replaced it yet. 50k on RV so far.
Ron ive been running Standyne fuel additive for a while works good for the vehicle and also cleans up the generator I dont have that much smoke and ive got 600 hours on it on my 09 View
Love your videos, Ron--your mods rule! I own an 08P. Your genny sounds exactly like mine did until the exhaust header clamp was repaired--It's worth checking. My exhaust header clamp broke and was so hard to reach that my mechanic had to leave it on there, slide it out of the way, and add a new clamp. You skipped cleaning the oil strainer screen. Cummins recommends Valvoline Premium Blue 15W-40 @@ontheroadwithron2432
Automatic Transfer System When you are on shore power and start Gen what happens. Does any automatic power transfer happen. Do you unplug shore power and plug gen into that plug when you run gen?
I rarely see a diesel instead of the LP version in the Views.
Do you have a mod for your EV charge port?
No, i did try it but was too slow. Solar in my house is much better.
Always good information, thanks
Great video! You need to do one on checking, cleaning, or replacing the air filter.
My RV shop wanted $350 to service that same, generator, 20 ounces of heavy duty oil 🤯 $4.00
Always enjoy your videos ! Thank you for making them:)

Pretty consistent 15-15.5 mpg. I drive around 65 to 70mph. Yes

The different sizes must be for different year chassis. Get the one for the ‘14 chassis. Probably same as I have.
@@ontheroadwithron2432 Thank you, Ron, for the quick response. I'll have to measure it, however the RV is in storage now for about another month.
@@ontheroadwithron2432 Hi Ron, Do you recall whither your Hellwig sway bar is 27.5" or 29"? I suspect my 2014 is the same as yours.
I always learn something new on this channel! 🙏

Box wrench on the plug next time LoL
Yes, I don't have one that will reach in there.

Me too. I love trying out different things.

Thanks for the info, great video.
That's all great sir, but what about servicing my LP fueled generator, same procedure?
Yes, they are similar. Your manual will say how much oil is required and where the drain plug is located.

I don’t tow but believe you can go up to 3500 lbs. will also need some kind of braking system for the car. Several folks tow Jeep’s for off reading.

Do you think your generator runs excessively noisy?
Seems to be typical. Most are loud close up and my mic was pointing towards the RV rather than towards me while I was speaking.
