    Really good video!
    I started playing on one exactly one year ago but a combination of me not being that good at the time (around VT Gold), mainly playing games that focus on static and dynamic clicking and fingertip-gripping my mouse made my aim horrible for the first 3 months, but eventually I got adjusted and now I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад +1

      Skypad isn't the best for static clicking, I have however found great success in a fingertip grip mouse called the hsk pro 4k and running it at about 23cm/360. That combo got my a top 500 score on tile frenzy in kovaaks. My usual favorite is still the gpx, but im gonna try out the lamzu thorn which has a shape that should fit my hand a bit more and an artisan raiden which VT MATTY uses so I'll do an update soon =)

    I got a glass mousepad a few months ago. The best thing you can do is replace your mouse skates with dot skates. You never get that scratchy feeling from hair/dust under your mouse anymore, they are quieter, they make micro adjustments even better and they are cheap/easy to replace when they wear out

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад

      100% agree, I've been using dots pretty much my entire time I've been using the pad. I got a lot of scratching with a lot of different kinds of skates, but since I got a strip of jade skates from xraypad its been amazing

      Yup thats what I was talking about@@zapmonkey123 , but they feel so insanely good. I think it's because the PTFE blend is really soft which contributes to how smooth they feel, so they most likely wear down really fast. Kinda like an altoid vs a jawbreaker (Jade vs Obsidian)

    I got the skypad a week ago after watching this i love it ! suprisingly to me it is not too fast or uncontrollable despite not having crazy raw aim it took me a week of just playing games and then something just clicked and my aim got so much more consistent and better only negatives for me is the size i wish it was 500x500 because i like to play on the top part of the mouse pad and sometimes my hand gets stuck in between the edge and my table even with a sleeve but its seriously awesome to have this consistency havent had a off day since i got the pad

    • @m3nachi

      I think I was able to get used to it really fast because I used a hayate-otsu mid which is pretty speedy and I also do a lot of Kovaaks. As of right now im getting a raiden in 2 days and im gonna try it out, but I recently got top 500 on kovaaks tile frenzy with the skypad so I'm very happy =)

And thats only in one day, i cannot wait to see what happens in like a week or so

    I bought a Skypad on Black Friday cuz I could actually get it for under 35 Euros (Medium Size) which seemed like a great deal to me.
    I’m a very high dpi player (2000) and the glass mouse pad feels great for this. Microadjustments are easily possible with this and it also didn’t take me long to get used to it since I always played on hard mouse pads (mainly the G440)

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад

      The black Friday deals were insane honestly. The micro-adjustments are easily the best thing about the pad for me and it also didn't take very long for me to get adjusted, I think because I played on the Artisan hayate-otsu mid which is very fast =)

    Great review!!! I just go to the Padsmith Empress. Yes, it is a learning curve to get around not having as much control. But I will say it feels so much more natural to use and that your input is more correct and true, even though your input lag didn't change. It's such a weird experience but one of the best feelings having no little tug trying to move a mouse or having any friction. I have a small Razer Gigantus under my keyboard next to the glass pad. The only reason I use it is for non-gaming use (Desktop / Website stuff). Prob could probably lower the DPI when not gaming maybe.
    The biggest thing with glass is just to practice practice and practice. Get your raw input and jitters under control.

    Ive played skypad for 1 years now. You really need an armsleeve for this pad. Ill say skypad is really good for tracking but also not forgiving when fast flicking. Work best at sensitivity around 45-50cm for 360. Better get a cloth mouse pad when playing at 35cm

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад

      After aim-training my fast flicks are fantastic, although not as precise as cloth. The weight of my 56g g pro superlight works great, but anything lighter (like my beast x) is hard to work with. Im getting some xraypad obsidian pro skates which supposedly help with that but I'll be making a video about a week after I get them so stay tuned =)

    i am actually overall very disappointed with my glass mouse pads :(
    i thought they were going to be as smooth as glass skates brand new. the brand new glass skates felt soooo fucking good and respoonsive i could barely click on icons on my desktop but the crazy accuracy and how it flows felt like i had 100% control over my mouse and all mistakes were my own and not some bs going on from the mouse pad or skates. i used them on the artisan hard pad and its just goes so well together. but that feeling on lasts a week or 2 then it becomes the worse mouse skates i have ever tried in my life so i have to buy new ones. after going through 4 of these skates i decided ill get the mouse pad instead. it didnt give the same nice glide and it honestly felt like i was playing on my desk which has slightly more glide than the mouse pad o.o
    which really triggered me because if this was the case why even get the pads i can just play on my desk. i also bought the obsidian skates that come with it and they were straight ass had to go through 3 sets of skates to find ones that work with it how i want. finally found one and the skates feel good however the glide on the mouse pad is so inconsistent and i would lose or gain friction half way through my tracking and my hand will start shaking trying to get the mouse to move. i realized then it was the cloth arm sleeves. if u slow down and speed up mid tracking u lose or gain alot of friction and it throws everything off.
    how are u able to control the friction of the arm sleeves on the glass pads? it feels horrible

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад +2

      Glass skates are actually supposed to feel like ptfe, not faster. Superglide coates their skates and the inconsistency has been really annoying to a lot of people. The V2 superglides dont have that nor do the LGG skates. The best skates I've felt for my skypad is surprisingly the stock dot ptfe skates from lamzu. You can buy a strip of them f or like 8 bucks I highly recommend =)

    • @m3nachi
      @m3nachi  Год назад +2

      I dont sweat a lot and i also live in a cold area so I’ve never needed an arm sleeve. I just wear a hoodie when I play because arm sleeves also feel really weird.

    • @Yeavinus

      If you wanna restore the speed of glass skates u can try using ceramic coating on them. If done properly it really makes the glass skates feel brand new in terms of speed.
