I upgrade the feed mill for goat milk. I find that goat milk pays the best for selling. I know its a wee lengthy wait (but nothing compared to the foundry). Currently, if I filled goat milk, that's $20 million. I had been complaining about the price of expansions recently & then I noticed they made it higher. They really tell us in updates about what they put upwards - Like corn used to take 10 minutes to make, now its 15 minutes. Thats a MASSIVE sneaky hike!
I also noticed the same about goats. Just an fyi it's cashmere, not milk, which is the fur on the goat and is used in clothing and textiles. it's a really comfy fabric and expensive irl
I found this really helpful and Alden made some good points. I noticed some similar things regarding buildings and not bothering to upgrade, and others I kicked myself for not upgrading sooner. One thing I will say is it can help to have a handful of buildings just at lvl 1 that you won't get sad about tearing down when you do quests with your guild, or if you want to have long term production cooking overnight. I always produce goat feed before bed, carrots in my fields, iron ore in the mines and so on. You can even kill off some of your fields in Tropicalis and have ostrich farms cooking overnight to cash in the next day. Our guild has been struggling on an individual level to keep up with the demands for the silk bolts on Jade. I actually went ahead and built like 4-5 of these as soon as I could and just had them cooking away. I upgraded the spinning works on Tropicalis so that I can have better access to the silk needed there to pop in the Jade buildings. On my main account I never had enough, but on my new account I have HUNDREDS! So now I've destroyed a bunch of them and have a pretty little nest to use to fill ships for my guildmates. I love seeing how people do their layouts too, my base always feels ugly haha
Always wish I could re-start but gain back all my resources. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. It's been great learning together. Combining library and island upgrades is essential. It does pay off in later game.

Just want to add an update/observation I noticed. I just upgraded my warehouse to lvl 7 (1600) but I've yet to get anything over 1350 (my previous store limit) - did they patch this???
Why can’t I get my cow shed functioning. Cows just lying there. New cow shed is working. Is there a life span to these farms. Upgrades done to level 3!
is anyone else having trouble taking pictures of animals? I am stuck at 9/10 and the camera icon wont seem to show up on the animals i havent captured yet?

What do you go to in order to create my guild
What level do I need to be to store buildings like cow shed? I can only store decorations at the moment
Building storage is unlocked at level 11 👍
Im 21 but only have decoration storage. I am not sure how to unlock it for production buildings.
Next to the decoration storage you'll see it, you need gems to unlock it. 200 for the first spot on each island 👍
Only have 3 tabs in the building menu. Housing, Farming and Decorations. Guess I am setting fire to my cows. Poor things😂

Don't buy houses with gems, it's a huge waste! I mainly use my gems to buy guild coins 💪

There are only 9 animals to take pictures of, I've got a video coming out tomorrow showing all the locations 👍
