I’m kinda thankful that this game doesn’t have stage themes and instead uses character themes cause if I had to hear the same theme over and over I’d be pissed but luckily this games top tiers have pretty good themes so it all balances out
Actually there are stage themes in the game, you can activate them on the game's sound settings, however yeah, it's better to have character themes bc of that reason, also cuz in my opinion the only good stage theme is Daily Bugle's theme :p
absolutely insane that no one commented on the absolutely CRACKED conversion from airborne at 10:59. he calls the missiles, gets a hit, knows the missiles are coming so instead of going into the web throw loop he immediately hits him with the DP floor bounce, swings to the other side, lets the missiles send him into the air, hits him with the high web throw and then HARD TAGS INTO MODOK for the kill which i didnt even know you could do off of web throw in the corner. definitely the most godlike spiderman player i see on TNS, especially considering hes running modok's weird ass on top of how hard spiderman is to play on his own. even like kennybo runs storm for the easy THC kill, airborne just that confident in his execution.
@@mrshanny82 he called the missiles before the hit. its extremely common to see players drop because of missiles hitting their opponent out of the combo. it can be very difficult to figure out the proper conversion especially considering hes playing a character like spiderman that doesnt have shit like fly or tri-dash that make it easier.
I'm flattered, but that was me actually taking the easy route lol. I wanted to have Modok out for the incoming in the corner, but I regretted doing the raw tag there because of the amount of red health I burned doing so. I couldve drawn the combo out with web throw loops and got more health regen, but I wasn't confident in my connection that night
@@AirborneIsGolden thats fair, but honestly the hard tag was the less impressive of the two parts of the conversion. just the knowledge to know what to do in that exact situation (landing the hit into the corner right after missile call) with a character as obtuse as spidey and the fact that you converted in a way that would've gone into web throw loops is just straight character mastery. im sure a lot of players would've dropped off the missiles with way easier characters to convert with. kudos to you
