Old St Augustine Florida FISHING TALE of landlocked MONSTERS trapped in FRESHWATER BORROW PIT

I went to investigate an Old St Augustine Florida Fishing tale of Landlocked Monster Snook trapped in a freshwater borrow pit close enough to the beach that many years ago there was a hurricane and flooded the area which enabled some big saltwater fish to go into this tiny lake and get trapped. As the water went down the fish had no way out. Some say that there is 40lbs Snook that got trapped 20 plus years ago in this freshwater tiny hidden lake in the woods.
I had to use my GPS to get to this lake because it has no visible trails leading to it and the woods were really thick. I emailed an old guard that worked at the state park and he confirmed the rumor was true, and that the million dollar question is, "Are they still there?" that was for me to find out. It's the most magical tiny lake ever full of life with 2 feeder creeks running into it, the perfect environment to create a monster.
