This is probably because they are trying to hide their embarrassment or trying to pretend your the one who being a simp. Similar scenarios have happened to other party royale RUclipsrs like assassin kid.
It is also weird how multiple people will emote battle Abd8x, Snowtex, or Circus then some random person walks up and spams an emote then laughs like they won.
