Hello, Solena, I just downloaded a chord/melody chart in F minor and filled in harmonies where it seemed appropriate. The introductory flourish I copied note for note from Billie Holiday's recording with trumpet player Frankie Newton.
Hi, Caroline. Yes, I bought the sheet music in F minor with guitar chords. I simply adapted them where possible and figured out voicings and arpeggiated versions elsewhere, keeping the melody in the treble. I used Frankie Newton’s trumpet introduction from the Billie Holliday recording as a ritornello between verses, taking it down an octave the second time.
