Last month I tried to go straight to day skipper practical course on the back of doing the theory course and a basic sailing course a year ago. Fast tracking the competent crew to day skipper was a big no no. Now I will re-boot and start with competent crew. I find the rope knots very hard to follow and hopefully on the course it will become easier. Also didn't see how the slips and moving off exactly worked. Great set of videos though. Enjoyable and fairly easy to follow.
Interested in competent crew qualification... you are definitely the type of skipper that I could learn from . I've watched hours of RUclips videos and yours is a stand out channel 👍
Thanks for sharing excellent videos and very clear instructions and the more I watch the more I learn before taking my own first boat out after it's launch in a few weeks time after an 18 month renovation .Cheers John
