This song is absolutely amazing and so different, it's a welcome change from the sweetness of the rest of the album (except for Waiting Games, which since it is next in the album it will hopefully be uploaded soon~). But just the grittiness and these sorts of vocals and lyrics, we don't really see that side of the Aviators very much! I always listen to this song when I am on drug binge and thinking what am I doing to myself and why. Part of me is escaping, part of me is becoming free, one part wants to remember the suffering. PTSD is lovely.
