I live in MN and we used to scrimmage a team every year in HS from La Crosse, WI. Some of the biggest O-lineman Ive every seen in my life and I'm no slouch being 6'2 250.
Poor Joe Thomas, he never got a ring, he was so loyal😢 and now he is retired, one like= Joe Thomas goes back to the NFL and get’s a ring. Don’t worry JJ Watt still has a chance of getting s ring , he’s not retired yet but soon he will, hope JJ Watt get’s a ring soon
I'm not sure why people say "he's the best 'defensive' player" as if playing on offense somehow makes you inherently better at your job. Watt is the best football player period
its just especially hard to compare. You can measure how many tackles Ray Lewis had vs Lawrence Taylor, or how many defensed passes Troy Polamalu had vs Luke Kuechly, and even though its not exact you can sort of measure it. But how are you going to accurately compare and measure the amount of sacks JJ Watt has to the amount of recieving yards OBJ has? You really cant.
John Cole yes you can. There's a ceiling to how much production you can get out of any given position. You measure the players level of production at the position they play and what they're asked to do against the same for any other position. JJ Watt is better at playing defensive end than any other payer is at playing their respective position.
Carl Simmons Tom brady continually leads teams of late round picks and undrafted players to superbowl wins and did it again this year and is going to do it again next year. What has JJ Watt done to compare?
plus according to stats, even with jj missing basically a full season, Watt leads in sacks, hurries, TFL's, blocked passes etc etc etc over miller in every category.
Anyone else not see how obvious it is that JJ Watt was taking steroids during this period. He was a freak until his roid buddy Brian Cushing left the Texans. Since then he's been completely irrelevant as a player.
I love these interviews with Joe Thomas .
I love your interviews, you don't shut off the athletes and talk more than them. Good guy. I love these Joe Thomas Interviews, do some more!

JJ Watt is great.
Unless theyre from NY, Chicago or LA, everybody thinks theyre from a small town.
Poor Joe Thomas, he never got a ring, he was so loyal😢 and now he is retired, one like= Joe Thomas goes back to the NFL and get’s a ring.

Oops I put s instead of A, sorry and hope y’all don’t mind it
not no more 99 AD RAMS
He's overrated af. Not as exciting to watch as jj.
Watt is good, but to be the best defensive player in the NFL he has to stay on the field. Unfortunately, I think his body is starting to fail him.
:/

No Arron Donald

MarsR lol he's had 20 sacks twice. But You're missing the point. Impact on the game or value to the team is not the same as skill level.
A defensive lineman can't be the best player in the NFL. That position can't effect the game as much as others.
Every position can affect the play...
@@jwvideos7011 so a sack isnt going to affect the game on a 3rd down
Rams vs patriots super bowl was all defense
@Mitchell D okay let me say this..WHAT!? 😂
Ray Lewis is the GOAT 🐐, AND he's a black dude
Brian Urlacher
ha ha no Von Miller
Brian Michael Different positions.

Brian Michael cuz he doesn't compare.
