Kona Magic Pelagic Blackwater Scuba Dive

Prepare yourself for the most insane scuba experience in the world.
After dark, your boat speeds away from the island of Hawai'i towards the open ocean. You plunge into blackness, with only your puny dive light to reveal the creatures ascending from the nearly-one-mile deep beneath you.
I'd be lying if I said my heart wasn't pounding, wondering what would suddenly emerge from the deep. There were hundreds of alien-looking creatures, transparent with glowing appendages, many of which ascend from the depths to the epipelagic zone at night. Dangling like bait in the middle of the black ocean was by far the most unhinged decisions I've ever made, and one I would absolutely make again.
