Hello, I use non-Lego tires, but you can use: Wheel 56mm D. x 34mm Technic Racing Medium, 3 Pin Holes Item No: 44772 with Tire 107 x 44R Tractor Item No: 23798.

Are the white corner pieces for the hood custom too? Or are they on Bricklink?
No - white corners are custom parts from the Shapeways (designed by the Efferman).
