    Have you included a Tornador to your tool box? The weighted tube falls apart for me first.

      I use both the Tornador Black and the The Rag Company Ultra Air Engine Blaster.

      My original Tornador chews grooves in the cone and wears out the weighted hose at about the same rate. I replace both about once a year. Great tool. I like that this has a more compact shape.

    A cautionary note. When using forced air if any kind I try to avoid door buttons and dash trim with a lot of cars that have thin plastic button covers. MBZ, AUDI, BMW and many other nicer vehicles.
    The air can easily get under a piece that has hidden damage and lift it right off. Then the customer is looking to use to fix it!
    Yes it happened once to me. But only once!

    Cool product but why would this be used over an air pistol? Both are compact and blow air from a compressor.

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  10 месяцев назад

      Probably some like the air spread out by the cone instead of being pin-pointed is my guess.

    If it had the same parts as the tornador black instead of the waited tube, it would be worth buying but those tubes break quick and they are kinda pricey for something that has to be replaced on a regular. But it is a cool little tool

      Agreed . I got the og one and after a few months I stopped using it for the most part . May as well use a air chuck with extension as I mostly use air for under seats/ between seats and center console and doors .

    Oh, HELL YES. I’ve been waiting for them to make a design like this. What took em so long😂 now what I need to figure out is why my air compressor keeps spitting water when I drain it. When the water coming out mixed with the dust it makes mud and becomes unusable rather quickly. Probably an issue with my compressor.

      You might want to try one of the red Harbor Freight water trap filters that attach in-line on your compressor hose. They're not expensive, and they're disposable. Most people use them with their automotive paint spray guns to keep water out of the paint. I have used them, and they work great.

      Maintenance bro. Clean out your air tank. Moisture builds up due to thermodynamics, your compressor tank has a tap on the side, you need to open it every 12 months and let the water blast out.

    • @MyGuyKirby
      @MyGuyKirby 10 месяцев назад

      Agree with GlumDog but open that drain tube monthly and let the water drain. Otherwise it will rust out the tank sooner.

    Hi. To first comment on cleaning out tornadors, we dunk the cone portion in a bucket of water and blow it out I. The water to clean the inner cone and tubing out. Simple. I’m going to order a few of these minis for my shop. We’ve got a few of the tornador cleaning guns with bottles and held off on the blowers because of ergonomics. This mini solves that but I’m concerned with the plastic construction.

    Though this was going to get me in closer but actually just ended up hurting my hand long term at end of the day to get it into popular areas there was always this unecessary pull weight of air line yanking back across palm. I like the gun version better due to the ergonmics. Just easier to operate it without hand fatigue. I use rubber hose line. Maybe I just need lighter airline line Flexilla or something to appreciate this thing.

    So its just a mini version of the original tornador? I hated those. Eventually you'd blow a hole right through the horn of it or destroy the whip inside.
