DEAR BRIDE is cute and fun though the mv is a bit sad, with the main character (Changsub) wishing the best for the love of his life even if she was married to someone else. L.U.V. is intense and deep with those amazing vocal battles going on. The music video speaks of love, loss, death, heartbreak, suicide and after life. The main character (Hyunsik) lost the love of his life..but like the situations portrayed by the other members..he can't cope up with the loss, he finds it hard to move on, he just can't live without her so in the end..he took his own life just to be with her again..but that saddened the woman coz as much as she missed him and wished they could be together..she never wanted him to follow her there. THE SONG is indeed a song for their fans (Melody). They released this during their comeback in 2022 after a 4 year military hiatus. It is their way of thanking their fans for patiently waiting for them, for supporting them all through out their career, for being there for them during their highs and lows. They shared so many moments and memories with Melody and they're glad to finally be with them again. Same with the other members, they are happy coz they were back with the group again..enlistments were over and the members were all together again..happy to sing this song and promising to always sing for Melody. The last song, WIND AND WISH..is a beautiful, uplifting song..at the same time nostalgic. And yes, we also believe that this is a song for Ilhoon, no doubt. Coz the lyrics are screaming out Ilhoon's name. It's like thinking of him, remembering the good old times and wishing him happiness and good life. And they're wishing that good wishes would reach him and make him feel loved and cherished. Yes, these guys do love each other..despite what happened..they just can't help but show they care even if it's only through a song. And another yes, Changsub's tattoos are real. Omg are you kidding me about L.U.V?? That's why I almost started to cry and got goosebumps all over my body but didn't understand why! I felt like she was dead in that scene, I just didn't say it, but I didn't understand that he died too!
They truly are amazing at giving others emotions even more than I knew... If I knew that he actually jumped I would've started bawling 😭

Yeay!! I was sooo looking forward to this.. My favorite japanese release from them are Brand New Day, Dear Bride and LUV, but LUV can be very overwhelming and heavy.. I think Dear Bride is straightforward enough, but LUV is filled with japanese symbolism, so I myself needed to watch the MV a few times to digest the storyline. The storyline for LUV MV from my understanding:
- The girl is Hyunsik's girlfriend, and she died, thus the ashes, the reflection in the mirror, and 1 black balloon (death) in the beginning.
- The furniture is covered and might symbolize either the unablility to move on or going on a long journey.
- I think the members are the representatives of Hyunsik's inner self, with all of them expressing loneliness.
- Minhyuk was running, and I think that symbolizes denial.
- I think Sungjae cutting the flower meant the unability to love again.
- Ilhoon found himself alone, which might symbolize the feeling of losing something important and loneliness.
- Peniel burying the red pill symbolizes the hope for healing, but at the end, the pill sprouts but is stepped on and dies, which symbolizes the loss of hope in Hyunsik's heart.
- Hyunsik on the building with grey surroundings meant he didn't find joy in this life, and he actually jumped from the building and died which are corroborated by Changsub having 2 black balloon (death) afterwards instead of 1 in the beginning. Changsub also sent a white flower with the 2 balloons as usually done to send someone off at funerals.
- The red thread symbolizes the link of fate and relationship, but I'm not so sure about the beetle. I know that japanese kids usually spend their time catching those beetles during summer, but I don't know what the meaning of the beetle is in this MV.
- Lastly, Hyunsik was reunited with his girlfriend in the afterlife, but his girlfriend cried because she actually wanted him to keep on living.
What do you think about this interpretation?
I think The Song is definitely a song for fans as a gift for waiting for them to finish their military services. They use the word 'Melody' a lot in the song, which is the name of their fandom, and the blue confetti represents the fans as blue is their official fandom color. They also referenced a lot of their previous hit songs' title such as Missing You, It's Okay, Only one for me, and Beautiful Pain.
Wind and Wish have a similar pronunciation in Korean, which is 바람/바램 so Hyunsik uses this wordplay to convey the meaning of sending your well wishes as the wind. I also think this song is dedicated to Ilhoon.

LUV showcased the vocal battle of the vocal line will be always be epic! LUV live is an experience. Melody have a theory that The Song is a tribute to fans; Wind and Wish is a tribute to Ilhoon based on the lyrics is not really for a girl.
Then my feelings were the same, it really felt like that was for him.. It's a really beautiful "wish you well" song ❤️

Muy ult soloist Taemin and my ult group BTOB....we have the same taste...haha. Yesterday was known that they left cube entertainment all together. But what will happen to the btob brand is till and enigma. ANd yes.....Changsub has tatoos. By the way "the song" was a gift to the fandom after all reunited after the military service. You can also look for btob4u with 4 members ( sungjae and hyunsik were in the MS, And BTOB blue, with only the vocal line. Also btob performances on inmortal songs 2. AND , all of them bigger or smaller, have solo songs/minialbums. They said Wind and wish are the same word in korean, so they play with the meanings.
That's great taste I would say 😄 Taemin is truly my favourite artist, and I'm so happy I started checking out BTOB. Their music has made a huge impact on me and my emotions.

They sang a few OSTs, but the one that they won best OST for is titled 'Ambiguous' for the drama Fight For My Way. They have an MV, and they also performed it in the 2017 KBS drama award show. Initially, it was sung by Eunkwang, Hyunsik, and Sungjae, but Sungjae was unable to attend the ceremony, so Changsub sang with Eunkwang and Hyunsik instead.
Recently, I have been stuck on 'The Night I Miss You' by Changsub for Her Bucket List OST as well as 'How Can I Forget' and 'That Man' by Eunkwang.. I guess I am more inclined to nostalgic and melancholic songs.. Hehe..
