@@tech1238 instead of that you could have multiple matches, all on one giant map as you said but separated by barriers that you can’t cross in game (else it would be really chaotic). You’d get to choose which match to deploy in so you get to deploy in a game where your time was losing and try and help them out or something like that

Can’t trust a word of what these people say. They tell us what we want to hear. Could easily delay the game nearer the time, or release a game that isn’t even remotely up to scratch. I am excited and optimistic for the next Battlefield but I’m not going to get carried away by what these people say over 6 months prior to a game being released.

@Charlie Wootton The first game I preordered was Bf5 and that game turned out to be a fucking dissappointment. It was fun, but the TTK changes and empty promises made me uninstall. So I think the guy is right in a way, but not entirely. Bf1 in my opinion was worth a preorder, and several other games too. I have hopes the next Battlefield will be good, but with how Bf5 turned out to be... I won't be surprised if it'll be a dissappointment.

Every developer says this now with every new game they release. "Never before seen.....our biggest open world yet.....most ambitious game.." yeah that's how it should be, the next game in a series should always be a big step up from the last, we've come to expect that......it's called progress lol. There are exceptions though..some games feeling like a half step up, same engine but slightly better graphics and new mechanics ...but I won't get started going down that road.
I'm ready to see some actual footage of the game, I'm ready for a true battlefield that isn't trying so damn hard to be competition to CoD and other games like it. Battlefield needs to be Battlefield, huge maps, an assortment of vehicles, tons of guns and gadgets and gear to use, and realistic movement without being too arcade like. Oh and of course a modern setting!

@@jmannxiiiaaron I didn't get into the MP portion until 3, so that one has a special place in my heart for the franchise. Plus I feel like the sound design of that one was far better than 4. Either way, all good. Really hope Dice can rekindle that magic fire they once had going.

One note, "net bookings" actually means all sales. The "net" is as opposed to "gross", not having to do with internet.
Technically, it’s a combo of Returns, discounts, and allowances. Would have rather seen increase in gross.

I heard that the PS5 controller has just enough C4 inside so that when the special BF6 algorithm detects that a player is intentionally team killing, especially withing 60 seconds of the start of the match, after two overt warnings (one of which takes all your rank away, the second automatically uninstalls BF6), the explosive will detonate and blow off the offending players hands.

-Slow down down the gamephase. I dont want to run around like an athletic potato sack.
- I want vaulting, not parkour.
- More strategic gunplay and gameplay.
- Make the control of Heli/aircraft dynamic like in BF3, not arcadeish like BF4.
Yea I do think they took things a step too far with BF4, making especially helis and aircraft a bit too arcade like. Instead, make them more difficult to handle and maneuver, but scale up their overall impact. It should be risky to fly in a city zone at speed, it should be risky to expose yourself to rpgs, it should be risky to smack into people on ground level in your helocopter.. but it should also invoke fear in the enemy when they hear the sound of your rotor blades in the distance.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not really fussed about the next Battlefield game having bigger maps or more players necessarily. More destruction is absolutely welcome, I'd just like to see some more variety and more focused team gameplay. I think they should take some notes from games like Rising Storm and maybe start focusing on team based game modes like Rush again. It's like when you look back at BFBC2 - people loved that game not for it's size but the other reasons I mentioned above.
Yes, more players makes the game more chaotic which means you get shot in back A LOT.

@@jolyne_kujo_04 Not really... Go watch some Squad's videos. Battlefield need more teamplay and more punishment with vehicules like the "helo taxi". Its just a lost of asset that could help the team.. I mean vehicules need to get more deadlier, but harder to play. If you lost it, you lose alot of tickets just like Squad. We need bigger map, 50v50, squad of 9, a squad leader with more responsability than just pinging "attack A" "defend B" and a commander on the field with the possibility to call an airstrike or arty and shit like that... a limit of sniper in each team and shit like that. A battlefield game with the asset of Squad but more arcade than Squad but less arcade than those last BF which consist to "run and gun" and run in circle to cap flags...

BFBC2 didnt have much players but it would get extremely chaotic! Even when the maps were humongous, shit would get CRAZY. My favorite gameplay always occured on OASIS playing RUSH

battlefield 2, 3 & 4 were such great games. i hope that battlefield 6 is going to be a combination of all of them but with more game modes, more guns, more classes, more customisation, bigger maps, and even more players for an all out war. that would be the dream.

sadly the big numbers and the wow factor that goes with it are likely more important to Dice than balance and genuine good gameplay flow, as we have seen from their past few releases

The reason why I loved battlefield 3 and 4 was because of the amount of content and challenges you got going through the ranks in multiplayer it gave you a reason to keep on playing if they did this with the upcoming game I would buy it in a heartbeat.

@@1sanitat1 You have a lot more room for creativity and innovation with a future setting than you would a WW2 game. If they can't come up with a decent 2142 sequel then thats a dead give away that they just can't make games anymore.

WIth NVME SSD, improved loading times are just an incidental benefit... it's primarily about loading more assets in game, faster and more frequently. More objects & more details on bigger and denser maps.
