Just did this on my first try in a public lobby. Not even joking, the entire lobby was trying to kill me. Even my teammates tried to boop me off the windmill with helicopters and jets. It's fucking mayhem
If you’ve gotten struck by the lightning on the windmill but didn’t successfully trigger the Megalodon afterwards, you can join a new match and skip getting the windmill part and go straight to the palm tree. You still have to wait for the windmill to get struck by lightning first before triggering it. It just saves the hassle of landing on that windmill again. Took me 3 matches before I got the camo.

The atmosphere Paracel Storm’s levolution gives is just unmatched by any COD or BF title that came after this one. Especially with the thunder and that ominous tornado siren in the distance...still sends chills down my spine...
I remember when the first rumors about megalodon came out back in the day, there were servers only for hunting this and figuring it out...full server with ppl just messing around and trying to understand how to trigger it. We had boat races and all kind of stupid stuff going on, it was a blast!

Funny enough though one enemy was on the windmill with us the whole time not trolling and we all were politely taking turns trying to get to the top of the tree but when I was the first to get to the top he killed us all so he got to be the one to trigger the Megaladon and get the camo.

I’ll give a few tips if you want a more in-depth guide to follow: When the game starts get in a heli and cap all the points. This will make the tickets drop as fast as possible so you don’t have to wait up there forever. And don’t try to parachute onto the windmill it’s just too damn difficult. Landing a little bird on the edge and then getting out of it is the easiest way to get up there, if you have a sauadmate in it then lining it up for them and then spawning on them is even easier. Now getting up the tree is also a lot harder than it seems. You have to be as close to the top as possible or you won’t see the light. The easiest way I found is when you get about halfway up it then start inching little by little and looking around for the light every time you move up, that way you don’t have to go any further than necessary as every movement risks falling. The light will appear when the Coconuts are nearly at your feet. Once you shoot it watch the show! In the end game report scroll over to your unlocks and you’ll see a blank square, that’s the DICE camo. Join a new game and you’ll be able to equip it. If you’re on Xbox One there’s a server called “Aces” Server specifically for the Easter egg. It took me about an hour because you need atleast 4 people for the game to start but with 4 people it’s very likely someone’s going to join the other team and troll, and even if they don’t troll you have to race against everyone else to be the first to get all the way up the tree successfully and then shoot the light. Also the first game this guy kept killing me and I managed to be on top of the windmill when the lightning struck but when I went to the island I couldn’t find the tree. Just stumps. The guy blew them up.
This game really is a AAA Masterpiece. Still looks awesome, sound and leveldesign still top notch. I simply love it. BF4 is easily one of the best shooters ever made. The content is also insanely good. Customize your weapons and skins, every map feels different. You can really get good in this game, 60Hz tickrate.... superb singleplayer campaign...this game really is insane.

It's working, you need to leave server and join some other game, you'll see dice camo unlocked. Dice LA camo (thermal camo) is unlocked on other map, it includes morse code easter egg.

Funny after watching this I tried on my next match of parcel and the enemy team was trying to a accomplish it as well. I somehow managed a ceasefire to allow for them to do the easter egg. I didnt get the camo unfortunately so I still have to try again but still maid for a cool moment with randoms.

I just played a match yesterday where I saw what I thought was a whale jump out of the water. I saw it from a distance so I really wasn't sure just what happened. I figured that it was just an animation that always happens in the match that I just never noticed before. But every time I played that map, it wouldn't happen again. I finally just decided to look it up and here it is. I never would have thought that I would randomly witness an Easter egg in match.

It still works on PC. Just did it. You just have to leave to main menu after the game and you’ll have it next time you join a server.
