Is it necessary to have hmi runtime basic/advance software to be installed in system in TIA portal. Runtime Advance/Basic is required for scada system but wants to know is it compulsory for HMI also....??

Hello good afternoon. How do I download between a pc and a siemens TP700 HMI? I use Simatic's separate Aunt and need to unload a change. Tried and the flash comes on but the error download!
The KTP400 has version No 15.01 but, I cant transfer stuff. It flashes correctly and the HMI is recognized on the IP adress through profinet, but compiles with warnings about version incompatibility. Even if I check "fit" it doesn't work, the HMI says: transfer failed. I tried initial setting of HMI version on v15.0, v13.0 in TIA portal, its not working either way. Has anybody an idea?
Why does loading HMI images with TIA Portal V16 fail with the error message "Components with a different version are installed on the target device. An older incompatible firmware image exists on the target device."? I checked image version on HMI it shows 15.01.00.00_24.01. Do I need to update the image and how can I do this if anyone can post a link or comment thanks
@@somethingirreversib when you first select to create HMI project on the page look at the right side you will see version selection section. Their you can chose which version you HMI is this is the ease fix to getting around this problem. The more permanent way would be to download the firmware 16 for the HMI you can get from Siemens website I was not able to do so. Tamar’s if don’t make sense send me email abulm3@gmail.com I can send you screenshots I made.
No modifications required. That is the easiest setup. Provide a unique IP address for both the PLC and the HMI and the switch will communicate with both.
@@PeteVree thank you very much. i will assign different ip address for both hmi and plc and connect them directly to the switch and then to my PC. i hope i get it well
