    The play through was way too enjoyable to listen to. I forgot it was a demo for a compressor :D

    I know these songs are just in the moment things for the demos, but this is too fucking good. Monu III, a flux single/bonus track, anything!

    So subtle, but I loved how much expression you put into the solo

    I still have to try the triple crown. Using the express 5:50+ now, but the tc seems amazing. Great demo again!

    John I'm sorry to comment on such an old video and I know you don't play the triple Crown amplifier much anymore. But I've had the amp in the 50 W head version for 3 years now, And I've always tried to be very minimal with the amount of pedals I've used as a kind of find it sensitive and/or tone sucking. Just at a curiosity did you ever find yourself wanting for an overdrive pedal for channel 2 or 3 to clean up some of the bottom end where is there a better way to eq that on the amp? I'm currently testing the horizon device precision drive because I didn't have a gate or overdrive and I'm not really sure I like it but it could be due to not knowing to to dial it in / use it. Any help greatly appreciated 🙏

    That is a tasty track Mr. Browne.

    That was awesome bro! The only reason I have been looking at the Dyna Comps is for sustain. This is the only video I have seen with gain and the Dyna. What sort of percentage increase would you say that you got more sustain in both the clean and dirty settings?

    Great video john! I especially enjoyed your leads, that solo fit the song perfectly. Im curious if youve left the stock el34's in the amp,or if youve even tried the 6l6's? Id be interested to know your opinion of the two tube types in this amp. Ive got 6's in my triple crown and love the juicier bottom end. Just curious on ur take.also are your tight switches engaged?
    Btw-isnt that blue channel pure gold?!! Mesa hit a homerun on this amp.

    Mayones guitars have a natural twangy sound. With the effect of the MXR Dyna compressor, the solo sound different really picks up the emotion of solos! (Maybe an EMG instead of SeymourD would have been divergent).

    Why can't all the MXR demos be like this instead of that boring Tele guy playing bluesy riffs?

    • @JohnBrownemonuments
      @JohnBrownemonuments  7 лет назад +5

      Believe it or not, a big portion of people that play guitar do like that. Crazy right?
      Although I'd listen to Jerry Donahue all day.

    Hey John
    I'm a big fan of yours and really enjoy yours and Monuments music. I was also a fan and looked up to Justin Lowe as a guitar player. Hence, why it means a lot to me to own your Qatsi Juice Burst. I found one online on EBay for far under a grand of what it's worth, and is willing to allow me to get it for $2700 which is a hell of a deal. I asked him for the serial number and he seemed offended by me asking as if I didn't trust him. He said he paid only $300 more for it brand new than what I'm paying. I need some help here, and I thought who better to ask than you yourself. Can I email you some photos, would that be alright? I just don't want to get rooked.
    Odd request I know but you seem like a stand up dude. Thanks.
