Hey make sure you set the job scope to high so you do more work and it doesn’t finish the work prematurely it also offers a much higher pay rate
The gravel settling during the drive is so impressive to me. Love the little details.
I know driving is fun, but you'll soon decide to use "fast travel" especially when contracts get a lot more complicated lol. 😀
I much prefer to fast travel everything. I’d rather do the construction than driving. Although I do miss out on seeing the beautiful map.
I think he'll drive.... I mean he's Daggerwin after all. Mans got a lot of patience.

you can upgrade your character using skillpoints in the profile menu
I enjoy this series cause I actually move heavy equipment for work. Machines in the game such as the cat and voegle pavers, wirtgen cold planer (mills as we call them) and the “asphalt compactors” are things i move on the daily
You should visit all the ? around the map, there might be a vehicle dealer or a store closer to where you need the items.

looks like a fun little game. used to drive excavators so interesting to see a game showing some of the jobs. things like that top soil removal would have been a excavator to just scrape it up rather than a big dozer like that.
you can sell unused materials (like concrete, gravel, soil, etc.) back to the dealer. that way you're not throwing away your unused materials after a job and you can even get some of your money back
you can even gain some money that way, if your job is to excavate something
You can sell All soil, dirt, gravel, asphalt, concrete you have left after job, OR dig up, "plane" during the job. 50K or more is not unheard of.
@@JoriDiculous that's awesome! I had no idea it could go that high. I try not to watch too much gameplay of this amazing game. Mostly excited for daggerwin's LP but I also wanna buy it myself when I have some cash to spare😂
@@MaxiveLegend Yeah, that job is *really* well paid. Most "higher played" jobs tend to be around 400K to 1Mill.
Its an ok game, but you are better off waiting to buy until they fix Bugs and other stupid things in it. The camera and the controls are horrendous.

Daggerwin, here are some tips and tricks. If you remove topsoil don't push it out of the yellow box but push it to the middle and scoop it up with a loader. you can sell topsoil for about 12.000 per lorry at the gravelplant. Also most of the lifting jobs you can do with your pallfinger crane on the lorry, you can ignore the build the crane message. Fuelling and reparing is nessesary for some upgrade stage (about 50 times for both) so keep doing that at the fuelstation. You also can upgrade the loading capacity of the lorry in player upgrade menu
Really appreciate that you go through a handfull of machine on each episode and I really love the driving timelaps mostly because thats how I like to play too.
You should use your skillpoints aswell. If you look at the bar in the upper right corner you can see you have 3.
To use them you go to the menu and profile, then skills.
Edit: 4 skillpoints

you can sell what you don't want back using the "F" key and also refill the lorry with the same option. helpful tip for everyone :D
There is one job on the American map the Container Hotel which if you don’t have any help could probably take about 10 hours to complete this info comes from a friend who has done it on his streams and he had some help so there are some pretty long jobs in the game which could take multiple parts to actually finish.
Same on EU with 2nd Prestige campaign job is 12 steps, it will take you quite a few hours. (Pays well over 2million)

That game is completely unrealistc. In real life germany that bit of road would have taken 52 months to be built.
In Britain, 52 years to build and 252% over the estimate cost!.
@Daggerwin Every job has a scope to choose low - medium or high. On high you have to finish more of the task to get the 100%

This is a great game I really enjoy it and watching series is great as well you can sell the excess in your truck in the function menu and same goes for if you fill it incorrectly as well
Interesting and awesome to see that the USA and UK missions/campaigns are completely different. That means once I finish my USA jobs I can start a new one for the UK missions! This game is huge and has huge jobs. On the USA campaign I built a bridge! So fricken awesome!
You can avoid the red lights if you drive in the opposite lane or on the sidewalk. You only get a fine if you stay in the proper lane.
If you skip red lights you get a pen

At the gravel plant you can get rid of all bulk material there is a silo like in FS22

hey Dagger, just a little tip, there is a lot of ghosting on your videos lately, ether your GPU is not set up correctly, there are drivers missing, or it might be dying... BTW love your videos, keep it up :D
I think it would be useful if you put the traffic density lower (somewhere in the settings) :)
Transport links is so fun also the campaigns and contracts are very different but the train station is my favourite campaign

Anything you don’t use you can sell back to the Gravel pit and any dirt you excavate you also can sell that at the gravel pit
I wish there was just a road paving simulator. I'm not very good at anything else.
Where i grew up there was a guy who must have done freelance tar patching or something, there was a small truck with buckets of tar in the back and I had to walk past it to get to school. I can confirm it is not a nice smell when you have to live near hot wet tar all your childhood 🤣🤣
As someone who works in construction thats the proper way to run a roller.

Hey Daggerwin and all other construction simulator players just a quick tip, if you have 2 or more monitors turn off "Show Cursor" in settings it will help preventing you from accidently clicking onto your second monitor

I do love this game myself, but I am disappointed they didn’t add skips to game or maybe in future as it could be done it was in 2015 game
I'm disappointed they don't have a dump trailer for the tractor units. At least in the videos I've see.

You can increase the 'Job Scope' from medium to high. You can get more money by increasing the 'Job Scope' before accepting a contract.
And you have to remove the topsoil with the back of the dozer not the front
"And you have to remove the topsoil with the back of the dozer not the front". No. You only have to disturb the surface, and you always Push with a dozer. They easy way to "remove topsoil" is to use the "Ripper" on dozer that got more than one, or use the Motor Grader's Ripper. Does the job in record time.
@@JoriDiculous But I have used the back of the dozer and it's faster 🤔 INR it would not be I think but in game it works perfectly.

Why don’t you do the harder job scope. Medium is too easy man.
There is a place at the gravel plant where you could dump your extra rock and you get money back for it it’s a greed that you run over with your truck just dump it
Just to let you no if you get time when your excavating soil out of a job if you load it up into a bumper truck and take it when full to the gravel plant they pay you for waste soil your digging out of job sites you get about 8,000 to 10,00 game cash credits with each full load bulk sales
Hope this help you earn extra cash credits buy vehicles or pay for jobs materials

I am a little upset that you didn't work for the environment or noise-protection for the people dirst. Very disapointing. But else good gaming! 👍
Notice how affluent looks an awful lot like effluent? Sometimes, with those pretentious sounding voices, that's what I think about.
Ugh while the graphics have improved, the gameplay actually is worse considering 2018 iOS and Android versions. It's too much Arcade when roughly 50% of a job is going to give you 100%.
I think by 2027 when people will get bored of Fs22 and their terrible ground simulation they will buy the algorithm from Construction Simulator to keep the game alive, because their is fantastic.

well it's a simulator game. construction companies can't really go around and do what they want, that wouldn't be very realistic... but there's plenty of different missions to choose from at any given time, as far as I've seen
