Tent Canopy Cover Replacement | Hillbilly Style

Today I am going to show you a quick fix for Pop Up Canopy Tents that get sun damaged rendering them unusable. Replacement Covers and Skins are costly and will only last a couple seasons in the sun and then you are left with a nice frame and nothing to put over it. For a 25 dollar tarp you can have shade and waterproofing better than the factory cover that comes with your pop up canopy tent. Tarps are much more durable than the nylon covers that come with these products. Will it look as good? No. Will the fit be as good as it could be? No. Is it as breathable as the Nylon? No. The durability and price alone make the tarp the more practical option. The function is to keep rain and sun off of you and a tarp is going to do a much better job than a nylon material. So if your tired of going through covers for your pop up canopy and don't want to pay the premium price to get a new skin than follow along and get your Hillbilly on!
Pro Tip: The Canopy shown in the video is 10feetx10feet so I went with a 15x15 tarp to offset the height of the frame and have excess to wrap around the frame to have a snug hold. Whatever size your frame is go bigger and you will have more than enough excess to achieve your goal of proper coverage.
**CAUTION-MAKE SURE YOU STAKE YOUR FRAME TO THE EARTH. WIND CAN VARY AND CAN TAKE YOUR POP UP CANOPY IN DANGEROUS PLACES**
