Losing Ndiaye was massive, but losing Berge isn’t as big as a lot of people think. Oh his day he was unplayable last year, but that very rarely happened and he’d go missing far too often.

I feel like the thing that has really separated City from the rest of the top 4 is squad depth and quality of said depth. Arsenal have closed the gap a bit and City have also lost some depth, United and Newcastle have also added, and Chelsea have bought or tried to buy everyone. I am pretty sure Chelsea just bid for a medic and water boy from Italy. Liverpool is the wildcard for me this year, after adding in the midfield they could really bounce back.
Chelsea don’t have European football and they have pochettino who does well in domestic comps, definitely top 5
@mikal0457 If there is 1 thing we know...nothing is indefinite lol they have spent all the money though. I think it will be a highly contested season though unless City just roll through. We won't really know what's what until the holidays come around and the table settles a bit.

I think the cherries will shock everyone this season. Ireola plays a very pleasing football. They’ve made lots of notable signings to build on their already underrated squad in, Alex Scott, Milos Kerkecz, Max Aarons, Kluivert, Zabarnyi, Solanke, Phillips etc. I can see them finishing 10th-12th

I think people are underestimating Luton. Everyone has them going down, including myself, I had them going down for a while, but the more I think about it, the more I look at their signings and the more I look at other teams, like Huddersfield 17-18 or even Sheffield United 18-19, that everyone thought were going straight back down, the more I think that Luton have what it takes to surprise people and stay up.
The team I'm worried about is Nottingham Forest. I feel that people underestimated them last season due to the outwardly chaotic nature of the club, with them buying a brand new squad and being owned by the guy who owns Olympiacos and runs the Greek Football Federation and all, but I think second season syndrome will hit in and send them down, not enough for them to finish last, but enough to have them finish in 18th.
Wolves are completely fucked tho, they're finishing 19th, only kept off the bottom by Sheffield United's attempt to beat Derby County's record for the lowest Premier League points tally.

Ange is yet to fail anywhere, I dont see him stopping now. He could turn around any club in the league, even bloody spurs. 8th is fair, but i see them pushing for europe if the players buy into his insane high pressing system.

Liverpool outsider the top 4? I highly doubt that with their bolstered midfield. They just missed out on the top four last season with a failing and injured midfield.
i don't get this "bolstered midfield" shit with liverpool, they brought in 2 midfrielders (good) but also sold 2 and let go of some backup, i don't think this liverpool team is going to do good if they dont get in a dm to replace the 2 that were sold. Unless they play mac alister there, but that would be a waste imo. And getting in a 19 year old who just had his first season in the prem is also not really the most waterproof plan.
But i guess well see, i see them doing really bad this year, maybe not getting europe, but that may just be me

Since I’m a complete neutral I can’t believe I have more confidence in Arsenal than Maxwell. If they stay relatively healthy, Declan Rice acclimates to the system, and Kai Havertz gets some of his former magic back, I think they take the league.

If City wins either the prem or UCL Pep might retire. As an Arsenal fan that might be better for us long term than beating them thie season and getting Pep all pumped up to come back and beat us. If he leaves a year from now i could see Arsenal winning two of the next five prems between 2025-29. The rumors, though, are him leaving two years from now in summer 2025.
