I don't understand all these people talking about Patrick Beverly not being usefull at all besides his defense his 3 point shooting its actually not bad at all and for his size as a pg he rebounds better than most bigs. He's more of a better player than most ppl credit him

I think he is definitely useful. I have never said he is not useful. He just isn't really a point guard. I actually like pat bev and have watched him go from being no one and bouncing a round to being a good player in the nba in some of the things he does. But I think he's become a bit of a gimmick. And now days his defence isn't as good as it used to be. There's alot of fouling but refs have no choice to let most of it go other wise it would be a foul fest. His shooting is ok but not great. Also ur right about his rebounding and he does compete hard which I like. And look I get it, he's a pest and that's his thing but he sometimes becomes a problem for his own team by getting techs or getting the other players going with his trashtalk. I dont think he's got the balance right. He also says some silly things in the media or on social media that makes him sound stupid.

The root of the Clippers loss comes from wanting to be loved, respected and worshiped like Lakers. Their jealousy of the Lakers has been around ever since they moved to California. The fact that Donald Sterling helped Dr. Buss purchased the Lakers before he took interest in the Clippers just so that Sterling could be like Buss only doubles down on their jealousy. Clippers basically have the same thing the Boston Red Sox had, the Curse Of The Bambino, where somebody helped the enemy for their own personal gain.
The players shouldn't be the only ones to blame. Doc Rivers got corrupted by the power he had as president of basketball operations; signing, trading for, and acquiring players and personnel who were close to him or had defeated him in the past - he even traded for his own son. The moment he got his dynamic duo of Leonard-George, Doc coasted, thinking it would just be like the Celtics title run of 2008. There is always something going on with the Clippers whether unintentional or purposed, but their greatest fear remains reverting to the old loser Clippers of the past.
Tyronn Lue will be tasked to fix the team's woes, but I think the Clippers could have done better. It's not just on court, it's off the court, their attitude, selfishness, egos. Good things beget good karma, bad things beget bad karma. They should have brought in Gregg Popovich, a coach who could put some discipline, accountability and responsibility to a franchise that is too bent on shortcuts. He could have shown the franchise how respect is earned and not given, and how to play for the greater good. Lue is a good championship coach, but his claim to fame is the miracle 3-1 comeback in Finals vs. 73-9 Warriors, when no team in NBA history had ever recovered from a 3-1 deficit in Finals. Clippers are hoping Lue could do same thing or better, such as coming back from a 3-0 deficit (a perfect 140-0 when a team takes the first three games). It's that extra spice I'm worried about: they don't just want to win, they want to win in a Herculean kind of way that will make people love them. Do you feel the Clippers put too much of a burden on themselves just because they're more concerned of their losing history?

Yes I agree with everything that you said. I think the clippers are more haunted by how they are preceeded then by actually living and performing in the present. Everything you said is 100% right. But this year in particular they had no excuses. They have major issues on and off the court as a franchise they have to address. I think the best thing balmers doing for them is to build them a new arena so atleast they get a fresh start of some sort.

    Yeah this is poor analysis.
