Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! are upcoming role-playing video games (RPGs) developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The games are the first installments of the Pokémon RPG series for the Nintendo Switch. They are enhanced remakes of the 1998 Game Boy video game Pokémon Yellow. They will also contain influences from Pokémon Go, as well as integration with Go, and will support a new optional controller called the Poké Ball Plus. The games are scheduled to be released worldwide on November 16, 2018
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are set in the Kanto region and will include the original 151 Pokémon creatures in addition to their respective Mega Evolved and Alolan forms from Pokémon X and Y & Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Sun and Moon. Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! will feature common elements of the series, such as battling non-player character Pokémon Trainers and Gym Leaders with caught Pokémon creatures. However, instead of battling them like the traditional battle system of other major Pokémon role-playing games (RPGs), the catching of Pokémon creatures uses a different mechanic that is based on the mobile spin-off game Pokémon Go where players throw Poké Balls at a wild Pokémon by using the motion controls of the Joy-Con controller.

You can also find, although a rare chance, wild squirtle in cerulean city. Up the nugget bridge to the right going towards bill. The first patch of grass behind the big hiker trainer I found 2 squirtle there randomly. Upvote so others can know
nero2108 I found Squirtle there too. Above Nugget Bridge, to the right of the guy that gives you Charmander.
When you go to vermilion city you will get a squirtle
You can also find them in that little patch of grass off to the left of the bridge by the water. That's where I found mine.

Though it is good just getting them feels easy I still miss the battle to catch option.

I’ve literally picked this game up 3 days ago and smashed it out even beat Red, it’s one of the best Pokémon games I’ve ever played and boat loads of fun I can’t understand why it gets so much hate , I adore it

Thank you! I somehow lost my gift Charmander at some point in my game, and found one really easily on route 4 with your help. On my second lure, as soon as I activated it a tiny Charmander appeared! Great videos.
You can find squirtle right across the bridge in misty's town. Just off to the left...

I was on a combo of about 40 Growlithe and I saw probably 6 Charmander just on my way through Rock Tunnel, so getting a combo (even of a different Pokemon) definitely increases rare spawn rates!

After 11 combos, there were tons of squirtles and Charmanders on the routes to the left and above cerulean

I got really lucky. Within the first 5 minutes of entering Viridian Forest, I found a Bulbasaur and a Pikachu.
I got really lucky too, the first pokémon i encountered was Bulbasaur and i saw it 2 seconds after i entered the forest. I also found 3 Clefables at the same time in Mt.Moon.
Only cought 2 Clefables tho. I also finally got Chansey and Onix. And i ended up catching Bulbasaur too. (And Pikachu, found it 4 minutes after Bulbasaur.)

The original Pokémon were so great. I played until the 4th gen and I felt they were all good regions. Don’t play anymore but I like coming back and watching videos on how it is now

I love how all the gift starters manage to reference their anime episodes with so little. The bulbubasaur being injured is a nice reference to the hidden village that specialized in healing injured pokemon. Charmander had a bad trainer who abandoned it, and the troublesome Squirtle is obviously meant to imply he's from the Squirtle Squad. Nice touch.
I appreciate it also, but I really wish game freak went a little further with it

Using combos makes it easier to find them, I found them usually after catching 10-12 pokemons. Charmander is also in route 3 before mt.moon and squirtle near Bill's house. The video is very cool, thanks for all the info on tue lures and percentages, it will be useful in my next pokehunts see you on the next videos

Pretty sure you're right about the catch combo effect. I was catching Ekans outside of Mt. Moon (Pewter side) and they were spawning faster as the the catch count got higher. (I also found a Charmander over here too, which of course prompted me to drop the combo.)
Thanks to this video with the Eevee tip for Pokemon let's go: Pikachu I was able to get all eeveelutions and an extra Eevee just to love.
I found a tiny charmander just east of pewter city
I've caught 3 Charmanders in Rock Tunnel, two with a lure and one without, both in different areas.
Edit: and now a small one with the lure
6:20 I found a shiny charmander in this spot. I had been recently farming chancee’s and I had an 100 chain so the first Pokemon to spawn on this grass patch was always the rarest (charmander). There’s another grass patch across further left that can also house charmander. Fly from one area to the next every time a charmander spawns and it’s easy
Hey thanks for your videos, they're very helpful. Unless I missed some thing you said about the span rarity of starter pokemon, I thought you might be interested to know that I encountered a wild charmander without using a lure so the item is not a necessity.

I remember finding a charmander first try on route 4 and I was amazed
i found every single one of these (except Bulbasaur) within 5 mins of me being in the area, not even searching. when searching for Bulbasaur, it took a while, i gave up hope and while running through to get out, 2 spawned at the same time.
My ivysour and war turtle and chameleon are going to evolve

From what I can tell, you can get at least one Charmander or Squirtle to show up in their respective areas by chaining another Pokémon in that zone. Like after chaining 13 pysducks in the like grass patch to the left of the nugget bridge, I got two squirtles to show simultaneously. Thus was repeatable and, from what I can tell, it increased their low spawn rate dramatically compared to just being in those areas for equal amounts of time. Not a perfect way to chain starters, but it might help start a chain at least.
I watched your video yesterday and I don't recall you mentioning this so I'll mention it in case you have not find out yet. I know you mentioned where to find rares. But you can make rare Pokemons appear easily by doing combos. I found a Chansey in Mt. Moon, Bulbasaur in Viridian Forest, Charmander on route between Pewter City and Mt. Moon. I had a 11+ Combo. After waiting a few seconds I noticed a few of these rares spawning about 2 or 3 at a time on screen.
