Don’t get mad, but I had a machine like this. It was just see through glass. I LOVED IT! I’m not sure if I should’ve love it. But it cleaned my clothes perfectly.
That’s a Maytag Stream Of Heat dryer, not the Halo Of Heat. The Halo Of Heat has a small square door, rear mounted lint screen. Temperature options weren’t available on the HOH’s from 1966 to 1975 (the earlier HOH models had them from 1957 to 1965). The only things that are interchangeable between the HOH and SOH is the console and timers on the 308 and 408, that’s about it. Everything else between the HOH and SOH are completely different.
My grandma has the WTW5000DW1 whirlpool washer, it’s basically the same as this lol except it has an impeller and slightly different cycles. My own whirlpool is a WTW4900BW0 with bad bearings
THAT OLD MATAG IS SO Beautiful even those the new washers have a agitator the old machines are so much better
It's funny how the washer sometimes quits its job by draining!

Its less about cleaning performance and more about over build quality
@@washdayx Yeah, but it actually did a great job.

This was so painful to watch, every time I watch this I wonder to myself, how was I able to deal with this POS for 4 and a half years?
I have no idea, the build quality is worse than the ge by a mile, the wash action is HORRIBLE, and its got the iq of a toaster oven
@@washdayxWhirlpool VMWs aren’t that good
@@washdayxI have a Whirlpool 4900, surprisingly it works after 10 years, the spin cycle is very loud, definitely got a bad bearing
Why can't they just make real dual action agitators for these machines instead of these fake ones? Just put straight vanes in them at this point.
Because whoever designed these probably never did a load of laundry in their life.
I just got a direct drive not long ago
Are yuu trying to clean thw machine woth cold water?
didnt have a hot hookup, it had to do
it was also just to get the wood chunks out
I had one no good 800.00 worth of junk.
