Winona talent and sensitivity... I adore her...
She is so intelligent. I love her so much.
Wow, you can tell how intelligent, and introspective she is in these 4 minutes. I could listen to her talk about the character for ages, so insightful. It was apparent to me that she's drawing upon a lot of her own experiences in the performance.
She is so smart, talented,sensitive and beautiful actress! She had to deal with the stigma, ignorance and lack of compassion towards their mental health, such as Susana. Bless her and all the people who is struggling and fighting out there!
I love how she takes time to articulate her thoughts and be honest rather than just rush through a vague answer like some celebs do
If winona ever does a podcast I would download it just to fall asleep
What I mean is that her voice alone is Soo soothing and Beautiful That could Help the worst insomniac and The worst sleeping problem just go away any topic just talk to me about it
Hell she can talk to me about paint drying and I would just sleep in peace and I'm not even talking about the paint drying

This is what a well spoken, intelligent and exceptionally talented actress looks and sound like. I was so upset that the tabloids and media hounded her for making a human mistake that made her sit on the sidelines for about 15 years. not cool. but she's back and I wish we had more movies with her.
After watching many interviews of her, I just love how real this actress is. I mean, Winona Ryder seems like such a sensitive and intelligent person. She's also calm and articulated, I could listen to her talk all day. I also kind of relate to her a lot, or at least I can relate to what she's saying in the interviews she gave. I don't know, I just think she's really talented and iconic. Also, what a beauty. I'm 24 years old and I wish I could look this pretty and have a particular aura like she does. I'll always love her and her work!
I just came here to see if she talked about working with Angelina, and I ended up enhanced by this woman's mind.
no one really ever brings up the shoplifting and i love that because no one can deny how kind and sweet she really is. The past is way behind her and that was just a silly mistake she made anyway:) loving stranger things atm too!
It wasn't a "silly mistake"...shoplifters who have the money to purchase the items are often compulsive shoplifters so it is more likely that she just happened to get caught that time (ie. it wasn't her first time shoplifting). There are sweet and kind addicts of all types, and she has definitely been forgiven by society, but just keep that in mind next time you see someone on the street asking for money that is also clearly a substance abuser - it's the same illness (addiction) but we quickly forgive celebrities and don't bother giving a second chance to someone on the street who, if given that forgiveness/second chance by society, might have been a productive citizen.

It’s so true and that’s why there is so many people loosing it out there they went from one extreme to the other society has never fully realized the right way to treat mental illness I wonder what the next chapter will be
Susanna did try to kill herself, but getting locked up with actual mentally ill people and taking those drugs didn't help, I guess. Visiting a doctor and getting more care at home and from friends would've done better IMO.

We get into trouble sometimes these days with the way we look at ourselves. When I was about 13 years old I remember learning about American History, and one of the things I remember learning about was the Salem witch trials. How can that be described? Simple actually, they were claiming that they did not or could not recognize the Holy Ghost. Sort of pretending that they did not know that there was no such thing as a witch. Probably caught up in their own feelings and emotions, like as if the importance of those feelings and emotions was a Holy Ghost or something. Well, when we talk about the Holy Ghost, in Christianity, I suppose it could be possible to talk about it like there was no meaning, or like any meaning would suffice, but a lot of the understanding of the Holy Ghost, from what I know, comes from the Holy Bible and the understanding of Jesus and the life of Jesus. Sure we have our obstacles in the world today, yeah. Maybe we are not destined to look bad, but just as long as we are not trying to have it our way on too many grand scales perhaps. Is it true that anything or anyone can be a Holy Ghost? I don't know, but without understanding Jesus in the gospels, for instance, I suppose, as there are so many wonderful ways to experience that, what would that Holy Ghost be? peace

Just because homeless people do not socialize with each another does not mean that they do not socialize... Because homeless people don't always have real reasons to socialize with each other... But that does not mean they do not know how to socialize... When you start talking about institutions and homelessness you start talking about yourself for the subject... Because for a homeless person that is asking for a person to make a sacrifice... Because there is more than one sacrifice involved with those solutions... But for the everyday person when they start talking about the institutions they become like the people who would in theory, actually commit themselves to psychiatric care if they could not stop themselves from hurting the homeless person... But the thing is, that when it comes to dealing with homelessness, that's not really what the phycistric institutions are there for, however if it was about the person who was having difficulty treating the homeless person with human dignity, then yes that is actually what the institutions are there for... Now some kind of an itellect is what I might recommend for any human suffering...
