I did one years ago. For the mask to stay on. I used W Scenic latex rubber. Basically a thick liquid masking. After painting the mask. I put some on the inside of the mask. Let it dry just a little, then stick it on the face and let dry. Gently pull the mask away after dried. With luck(might have to do more than once) It will pull away from the face. Then because of it being rubber. You can put the mask back on and off w/o scratching the face paint and it will hold pretty well

So great to find this video!! I have this kit as well, and it's on my list of kits to build before I die! It's an impressive kit, and I hope I can do it justice with a good paint job. I'll be watching to see if and when you start working on it. FYI, I actually had a crappy VINYL version first, which I suspect was a foreign recast. I sold that to obtain the real deal. I know the originals command some good money nowadays, but I fully intend on BUILDING this one!!

I've always thought this was a really nice sculpt and kit, but never realized it was 1/5 scale and cold cast porcelain. It would be great to see a WIP build up of it. I would guess that "how to" videos about dealing with cold cast porcelain are very rare.

I don't think there any.. The last company . To do cold cast kits was KitKong..
Before that Needful Things.. And of course Darkhorse was the first.
My Predator kit, from Darkhorse is quite frail.. a unstable medium back in the day.
      Looking back..

I have heard if you want to drill cold-cast, you should heat it up first to soften it up so it doesn't shatter while drilling.

Think back to my last EMAIL - 2 days after that was sent, Google's *_"watch the ads or we'll block you"_* 3-strike policy finally hit me. I'm now going to have to create multiple RUclips accounts - but I'll make sure you will still be able to ID it as me 😇
Great seeing you unbox an older kit (like a mini *_"Scott's basement"_* segment) - history in your hands (I believe Scott uses that phrase with your Mom).
Jason *_"drops it"_* Walker and cold-cast resin - a match made in hell 🤠 (that'll wreck your tools too!)
Given Warren's *_"creepy crawlies"_* heads-up, he should have put one of those *_"jack in the box"_* springies inside to freak you out when you opened this up 😈
Thanks for the share Jase 🙂
