  • Repairing an 1/8" hole someone drilled into the bottom of our church's bus using JB Weld Tank Weld. Vehicle is a 2003 Ford E-350 with a steel fuel tank. Wanted to try out this repair to avoid dropping the fuel tank and replacing it.
The tank repair kit I used is this one amzn.to/3RwhViD

It's been holding so far. I haven't put alot of miles on the bus, maybe 50 miles or so.

It's held up so far. We don't put alot of miles on it cause it's the church's bus but it's still been 5 months so far.

Okay but did you cross reference the part number to make sure you have the right sealant?

Not sure what you're trying to ask, I used everything the kit came with. I'd assume JB Weld would give me the correct sealant for fuel tank repair in the kit.
