- On a driving test from Wolverhampton Driving Test Centre, you are likely to encounter these two roundabouts. As they are so close together, the examiners will normally give you the directions for both roundabouts at the same time.
The whole system has badly marked roads, and other vehicles may hinder your progress.
So here is the secret guide on how to get them right.

I drive on these roundabouts when me and my instructor go to practice driving in Wolverhampton. A lot of the roundabouts lines could use a re spray....
One of the best videos I’ve seen by a country mile. Very clearly explained and understanding that it isn’t always as black and white as going on a third exit and go on the left lane. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for your kind words.
i passed today May 20th,this video really made it very easy when i got there. Pass at first attempt. Thank you mate
Very well explained. Cleared all my doubts in one video. Appreciate the efforts. Thank you

Sir your explanation is good but mean problem is your video in around about is too dark is not clear, please can you make videos more clear, we can learn more. Thank you
At 11:14 - can I exit into the left lane if safe to do so? Thanks
why was the markings changed on the middle lane from Coseley road/A463 to just Coseley road as this lane will take you around the roundabout and you will exit in the left hand lane 3rd exit.
I'd love to know the answer too!
Same as when the council repainted St George's roundabout, they put the split in the wrong lane, so you use the left lane for Ring Road then suddenly find you needed the right lane!
Great video! At 2:52 , can u also use the left hand lane for the same exit?
Don't do it! It's another example of where the left lane kind of works but it is marked as ahead 2nd exit, so it isn't correct. The examiner won't like it 😉
@@InclusiveDriving thank you so much!
Cars always take the middle lane to go right at that roundabout they are not looking at the road markings
It'd so annoying whe you have different explanation from instructors, this exit I've been told to exit on the left, cross 2 lane on exit, not ideally, but..., as if you are on the right lane another car can come from the left and overtake you, and this is a serious fail, do what now?😢
At 5:00 when merging do you have to put right indicator on?
I consider a merge just the same as a lane change. We always have to be mindful of traffic that isn't familiar with the area, and a signal helps people who are leaving the main part of the roundabout.
