- My first night session of 2019 was a visit to Millbrook Fisheries in Stoke On Trent where I went hunting for winter carp and the hunt for a new PB!
Can I beat my PB on the first trip of the year in wintery conditions?

What pellets are they please?

@@richardlatham4062 thank you very much mate and I will have more coming soon. Sadly some personal issues have got in the way the last couple of months that have derailed my plans but back soon. Any other local lakes you would like to see do let me know 🙂
Looking to fish in January, any advise never visited before
It's a lovely lake, quite a small place and the pegs are really well looked after. The bottom is quite uniform, very few places with big drop offs in depths. I would personally not fish right up to the island. Pegs 1, 2 or 12 are decent winter pegs and are right next to the carpark which is a bonus. Most tactics and boilies will work well. There is CCTV and if the owners see you catching they will come straight out and help you with pictures etc. Some dont like the CCTV but they are helping you with pics and of course making sure their fish are being looked after. @@Mike33 I've fished baden hall myself 3 times this year but it's a very difficult water, any advise regarding millbrook as I'm going to fish it 10th January and any help would be appreciated, I'll like and subscribe now , merry xmas

@@charlottehull3628 if you ever see my at the lake then give me a shout. Baden is a quality place, lots of good lakes. Specimen lakes see a lot of action so are harder but Middle Pool for example is brilliant

Hi David. Hydrabaits are the ones I used and you can find them just by googling the name. Plenty on there. 👌
