NOW YOU WILL PAY!!! With an extremely anticlimactic ending.
BahamutMegaFlareZero do they really pay them to go on this ride if yes bull shit
I call it a troller coaster. LOL
King's Island has a thing for anticlimaxes between this and Mystic Timbers.
in the gift shop.
It's always been like that. 🤣
This was my first rollercoaster many many years ago. I was so scared that I started to cry. And then it started and I realized I loved it and wanted more. I rode this over and over, worked my way up to the Racer and the Beast. The next summer it was all Son of Beast and Vortex for me lol the good old days
this was my first rollercoaster too!!! still not riding the beast 😅
This was my 5th roller coaster but my first mine train coaster I love this ride
The ending is a lil disappointing, cause you’re expecting another drop.
But I guess this is a kiddy ride if you think about it,
Nicks_ Life! IKR! I went on it last year and I was SOOO sad when I seen it was the end!
Yup. I have a massive fears of heights so this is about my speed 😂 Flight of fear is about the worst I’ll do.
It has the same height limit requirement as the beast sooo jeez!
When Paramount bought the park back in the early 1990's,they made a choice to turn to family oriented rides for a couple of years. This was one of them. Another was Phanthom Theater over in the what was once known as Hanna- Barbara Land.
@@bluesrocker79 Paramount bought King's Island around the time that ride opened.
wow how anticlimactic..."NOW YOU WILL PAY! exit stage left"
More like exit stage right lol
ruclips.net/video/RHTSGSkl3Zk/видео.html
Yeah they should have made that part happen in the beginning.
Not really. You did get paid. Because you entered the temple you can’t continue the ride. You paid…
when I was a kid this was my ultimate favorite coaster at ki..I loved the Indiana Jones feel it brought..always thought the end of the ride was lame though. just very anti climatic. You have those God like stone statues saying "now you will pay!!! and you think there's a big drop....but no lol. really let's the ride down.
But i still think the ride is fun but yeah the ending is a disappointment
drby0788 it still is the ( my opinion) BEST roller coaster there but I defiantly agree
Ari XoXo Yesss! I’m younger and have a massive fear of heights so this and Flight of fear are my all time favs!
KI can “fix it” if they wanted to...rework the ending section to include a large drop hill after the last lift hill...could be done!!
Honestly it feels as though they should have put that on the first chain lift.
going on the ride today will be my first coaster wish me luck
steve trams in my thought it’s poop
Bumpy as shits
ITS JERKEY
Who here can’t go so you watch this in 2020
It's rlly bumpy like rlly bumpy
Anticlimactic lift hill is anticlimactic.
Such a cool ride though. I love the theming.
This is my favoritest ride ever at kings island!! My second favorite is the backlot stunt coaster!! Soo much fun!!
This ride is AMAZING but there's only one thing I hate about it...THE ENDING!!!Its cool and all in the tunnel but when you go down its not a big drop its more like a 2 ft drop:(it would be more exiting if it had a drop after the tunnel and also had a splashing ending like diamondback has!NOW THAT SOUNDS BEASTY!!!!but it is how it is...Its still a great ride though :)
Tavier Lugo ikr
This!
They tried! Like they ran out of $$ at the end. Pretty dope addition tho.
Always had really short lines to it when I used go on end year band fieldtrips.Decent coaster with little to no wait.
I went on that ride it was my first time on the AE roller coaster and I got worry so I asked will it be a big drop and she said it will be a small drop and I said oh thank you☺
Everyone says it's and anticlimactic ending, but I quite like it... I'm not a fan of huge roller coasters, so it's nice to have a ride with no big drops. Super fun ride!!
This looks like a miniature Beast.
I remember riding Adventure Express when it was new back in 1994. A lot of the themed elements are gone especially the tons of mist that used to be in the tunnels. I rode it again for the first time in 17 years last August and it was still a pretty good ride.
my first roller coaster ever
It was mine 2 I was so scared but I loved it
SuperRosey16 it was my 4th
What part of the park is it in? I never had found it anywhere but I would ride it. Please tell and thank you
@@patricatt9002 no reason to brag, nobody cares
SuperRosey16 Unfortunately my first roller coaster was the Diamondback. 😭
I love this ride! The end is so epic!
except the end effects should have some more ride after them! what a disappointing ending for the ride itself!
+spyyder976 I know, when I was really little when I first rode this I thought there would be a huge drop
Lol
this ride throws you around. I was alone and I screwed up my elbow because it slammed me against the other seat. but then again I rode it like nine times.
I went on it for the first time yesterday omg I LOVED ITTTT I normally make a weird annoying sound but I didn’t this time huge accomplishment
I'm sorry to say this but this was the BIGGEST surprise of my trip there. I just happened to be walking by and saw the sign so I walked into the que and still had no clue but when they dispatched the reason and it left the station then, WOW. This thing surprised me. I rode it about 10 times in a row. I give this a 10.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE RIDE EVER!! I hate rollercoasters so that probably why. Me and my friend rode this and I got my hair stuck but we were laughing so much.
I have ridden over 500 coasters in my life and I put this in my top 5. YEAH I SAID IT. I never knew this coaster existed until my 2nd visit to Kings Island and I was walking by and saw people going to this line so I followed. I asked what is this and they said it was a coaster. I knew I couldn't see it in the park so I assumed it was a kiddie coaster so I went ahead in line and saw it was a mine train. Well I like mine trains so I got on and to my surprise, this thing was fast. Now I will admit the ending surprised me but still I thought this was the best surprise I've had at a park in a while. I rode this 20 times that day.
I loved this ride. Went again and again when I was a kid. Hoping to go back and try is again now, some 15 years later...
Charbrit08 the Beast, the Vortex, and the Racer are one of the oldest roller coasters at Kings Island. They were built even before the Adventure Express has opened and those coasters are oldie but still the best.
#best ride
I like how there's a fair bit of coaster track before the first chain lift. That's not something you see very often. I like the twists and turns this coaster takes, and it looks like a fun ride for all ages. That ending with the temple deity telling you that you will pay only to then round a corner into the station was random and anticlimactic however.
this ride needs a new finale. if that lift was updated and added a new section to the end that would be great
The know, how I feel about Vortex is the same I Feel about this ride. It’s very rough, the restraints are painful, but They both are alright
these are good transitional coasters ... still i like them as long as i dont have to wait more then 15 min.
The second time I rode that ride, I was scared, and when I saw the golems, I started remembering the first time.
"Now you will pay"
The End.
This is better at night. I think it’s a lot faster now
The layout is very good overall and it's a very fun mine train. And the indoor lift hill at the end with the theming is really fantastic. Why did they ever decide to build you up so much only to turn into the station? If this had a drop and a few more elements after that final lift then this could be better than Thunderation. This ending is like if you rode Splash Mountain and simply got off the ride at the end of the big lift hill and there was no drop.
i was terrified the forst time i rode this xD
its not bad at all
Fav ride when I was REALLY young I still am young
I remember riding this four or five times in a row with my brother
I like these Arrow Mine Trains, but they're Hybrids are just.. Better. I really like Gemini at Cedar Point and Excalibur at ValleyFair a lot more that they're Mine Trains
This looks like a neat coaster.
still love this ride!
Omg last year I went there on the Adventure Express and when we went in the cave this with the golden people moving their arms my Mom said it’s a big drop and I was panicking and screaming..... then I found out it was sadly the end! (It was the last ride i rose at Kings Island but we might go again this summer!)💖💖💖💖💖💖
The ending is sad. You don’t get a drop...
Well the main tiki God pours lava on you at the end, so it basically implies that you died
I loved this one so much lol
Just rode it today it was epic
KI needs to rework this coaster to include a drop hill after the last chain lift at the end....one BIG drop and then turn into the station. Then...it would be about the PERFECT “family” minecart coaster imo! You listening KI???
If you're a coaster newbie, it's a good starting one...just don't ride in the back car, it'll kill your back.
I love this ride. The effects at the end had me ready for more. If only there was more to the ride after the special effects tunnel like a big hill and a loop then like a quick stop at the port.
Mine trains don’t have loops
Funny, this ride has the same height limit requirement as the beast!!!!
*i still think it’s a pretty fun ride*
Its so beautiful!
I've read that there was supposed to be something more at the end, but they ran out of money. :(
oh so thats why it boring at the end
Well...they have money NOW...so FIX IT Kings Island! C’mon. Give the people what they WANT.
gotch i rode this a millions time in the past its awsome ride
NOW YOU WILL PAY!!! ... by exiting to your left at the station.
Adventure Express souvenir t-shirts on the sale rack... Now you will PAY only $5.00
Love this ride just feel like it take forever going up the hill
The fact that in some parts the track is almost sitting on the ground with weeds growing taller than it on either side is disconcerting
Now we know where the idea for the shed came from.
Time tunnel! Time tunnel, approaching!
Is this a hybrid coaster
yes, It's an Arrow Mine train hybrid
I just got off this it was fun because I havnt rode it in 3 years
This ride was the one that I didn't chickend out on
The ride is fun - a nice mid-range roller coaster - my kids and nephews like it. I remember having a terrible first impression because the ending is so anti-climatic. I was expecting something after the climb at the end - imagine if on the Beast you went up a second hill and it just ended instead of the double helix.
We always bow to the tiki gods when going through the tunnel!
Ha ha
My fav coster in the park
I'd consider this rollercoaster more of a "milder" coaster. I'd go on a few of these kinds before I get on the more extreme and tense ones. However, there's a few of them I dont mind being on too terribly.
Good one!
2:00 What is Grinch doing on the ceiling?
That’s a Tiki God
why did they get rid of the creepy noises on the first lift hill and kept the audio on the second?
Maybe the machine that made the sounds on the first hill stopped working
0:22 For the first year or so, you would've crossed under the Lion Country Safari monorail here.
I love this ride
Definitely consider this one a kiddie coaster
I went on that it was so awesome 😎
Anybody want to answer this what part of park so I can take my family to it?
Coney Mall, right off the midway
I remember riding this when it had a Legends of the Hidden Temple reference to its name
I love that coaster
this is so fun
this ride is awsome
squirting water or silly string on everybody at the end of this ride would have been VERY CLIMATIC!!!! haha
Beware: this coaster is not as slow as it looks at times
Idea for a new name - Anticlimactic Express. :-O
is this ride still around can anyone tell me???
Scott Mosure yes
Yes it’s still here in 2018
I always get stuck in the ending tunnel every time
next time I'm getting on it
where is this in the park
cuttino mitchell right by Oktoberfest patio.
ya
The park is Kings Island in Mason Ohio
This is rougher than Vortex
It's not an extreme epic coaster, but it's still fun.
Best coaster there specialy at night
Now this is I call a troller coaster. LOL
why is it diffrent in this video
First roller coaster I rode over 100 feet.
adventure express is only 63 feet tall
If you leave the station with a drop and return with a lift hill then you break even
This isn't the greatest ride in the world by any stretch. The 2nd lift hill to nothing is bullshit and it is jerky as hell. All that aside, if you grew up going to Kings Island, this ride carries a lot of nostalgia. I remember riding this often when I was a kid, now, i get to force my kids to ride it every visit. It's just a fun little ride.
It’s really jerky although short and it’s pretty ok. They could’ve put a few drops. And or side ways because it’s so jerky. Just so it’s a break from all of that. Your expecting drops but you never get them.
this ride is boss
Favorite
My ribs still hurt from 2 days ago.
Puts the Indiana jones music to it ahhhhhh
What an anti-climatic ending. “You will pay!....” by ending up at the cue house a few seconds later?
this is totaly arrow woodie
That hill is so loud
What an odd little ride it's in the wrong place in the park it should be in the kids section
HD
no

The turn at 1:28 is actually kinda forceful.
Logan Roberts that’s a helix
lol what a crummy ending
I mean, you kinda are paying because you don’t get what you want, it’s like now you will pay with nothing, not even the thing you want, or someth8ng like that.
