    With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hikes, while treasury yields are rising rapidly-which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I earn regardless of the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads in deciding if to liquidate my $125k stock/crypto portfolio

    Thanks Anji. I got a question on the shipping profile..im based in Australia but I don't have a target market like UK US or AU. So would you advise to select a market or go for all markets ? And which printiy mug provider can I use for all of them??

      Hi. I ship in the USA only so I can't really advise on international shipping. For me, I think there is plenty of buyers in the USA so I like to keep it simple.

      @@TheAnjiMartin Thanks Anji. So my shop when i set up i selected location obviously as AU. But if i want to target my buyers in USA then how do I get about it ? I've got 40 plus listings from this week so now do i have to change to USA in each listing separately or is there anyway to apply it to all my listings straightway ?

    Hi Anji! I have a question: What is your returns policy for a print on demand business? I am finding that it is best to not accept it due to it’s “Print to Order” nature. However, returns must be available if you are selling to the UK and EU.
    What do you recommend? Thanks Anji.

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +1

      Hi Leo. Yeah I don't accept returns or exchanges and I stick to my policies. I only sell in the USA so I don't have to worry about the EU stuff.

    Hey thank you for all this. I have been watching another youtuber talk about focusing on the customer versus products and holidays. But then I see your videos and success so it becomes very confusing. Should you sell mugs and another product? Should you stick with focusing on holidays or do a variety of mugs? I suppose the customer could be anyone interested in Halloween mugs. Thanks again!

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +2

      You're welcome. Yes, it does become confusing if you try to listen to too many different people. If you ask 10 different Etsy seller what their strategy is, you will get 10 different answers. It doesnt mean one person is right and one is wrong. Everyone can only share what works for them. What you need to ask yourself, when you're taking on board someone else's strategy is this: does this persons business model align with my long term goals. If yes, then consider their advice. If no, disregard it. For example, someone may have the best advice in the work but they are setting you up to be a slave to your business by stocking inventory and shipping. My goal is freedom, passive income and working ON my business, not in it. I recommend starting with one product and multiple niches/categories (including holidays, evergreen). Expand upon what starts to work for you and add those winning designs to other products. I hope that helps!

    Wouldn’t we need to also look out for “POD License” on top of the Commercial license? Or is that only needed for graphics-not fonts?

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +1

      That's for graphics. With fonts you just need the commercial license because you make your own design with the text/phrases.

    Love your videos Anji!! I see most t-shirt shops on Etsy price their t-shirts at $21 including shipping… Now at a $21 price point including shipping, May I know how much profit per t-shirt this seller would be making approximately? If I use a POD partner like printify, May I know how should I price my t-shirt so that I get a $5 net profit per t-shirt sold?

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +1

      HI! Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it! I would recommend watching my pricing video so you understand how to price ruclips.net/video/d4LOECeDhNk/видео.html But I bet the $21 shirts have variables in their drop down menu. That is a low price to me. I would be priced more towards $24.99 for bella canvas and $28 for comfort colors. But you could do a little less if you have printify premium and want to accept $5 profits.

      @@TheAnjiMartin thanks Anji!One last question-- What are your thoughts on offering free shipping rather adding extra shipping costs to the purchase? Since most customers want free shipping, I am not sure if I should factor in shipping in my price of t-shirt as it will definitely make my t-shirt look expensive compared to my competitors.

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +1

      Yes I do free shipping and it's not a problem. I add the price of shipping into the cost of the product.

    How did you make 50 mugs sales in your first month on Etsy?

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад

      I sold 50 in one day. It was Christmas time and I was offering custom mugs. Someone from a sorority purchased 50 custom mugs for their party. Seo/keywords, quality listing and people love custom items. Aside from the sorority- many families would purchase multiples for mom, dad, kids, nieces, etc. One of the best ways to grow a new store. I don't do much custom now because I like my store to run on autopilot.

    Yea i heard that chatgpt anything you ask it will give u 2year old outdated results. That you have to get the chatgpt 3 or something for current updated answers. Its what ive heard and read not so sure how tru it is.

    • @TheAnjiMartin
      @TheAnjiMartin  Год назад +1

      If you read inside the app it says limited current event information passed 2021. But as you see with what I asked it and what I recommend here - writing Etsy descriptions, coming up with store names, coming up with tag lines and product phrases - it does a great job. So I guess what you are stating could be problem in some instances (if you are doing some sort of current events research). But for simple business related tasks it works great.
