- I hope this satisfies your desire for modern era action. If not, I'd suggest checking out my stream. We often do games of future start multiplayer, which means units like helicopters, paratroopers, stealth bombers, and nukes get used. www.twitch.tv/suedecivIII
Sorry this is all one long part. I couldn't be bothered to divide it in two parts, I was just too lazy.
I don't think you ever realized but at 7:17 you right clicked the lump sum gold and changed it to 2 instead of the gpt which cost you 778 gold
Oh damn you're right. That's like 2 tanks hahah.
@@suedeciviii7142 haha yeah that's huge, especially on sid. either way, thanks for the great content. if you're ever looking for fresh video ideas I've got one I think you may really enjoy
@@salvatoreasante6907 There's still videos I need to get through before I do one more, but I'm always happy to hear suggestions!
God damn that was painfull to see
"I love Disney movies" - Suede
Hey Suede! Can I send you a save file on vanilla CivIII? I found a bug where I have two sources of iron yet it doesn’t show in my cities nor can I build railroads
Me playing this on emperor diff: just skip the first round.
This video: no first round? We make one.
13:13-13:25 Suede: "we'll take our 2 gold where we can get it" 😂😂😂
It's great to see your approach to this scenario, particularly on Sid difficulty. I hope you keep making conquests scenario videos - how about the Middle Ages next? Also, that Dutch peace treaty negotiation was hilarious!
Yeah, RIP to anyone wearing headphones at that part.
Could you also get rid of the Aqueducts for those next to rivers?
Thanks for the vid
You can't sell aqueducts, even though they cost maintenance.
I think you can sell maps on that scenario, despite the entire map being known
Yeah turn 1 diplomacy is definitely broken
Civilization 3 have a very limited scenario editor. A lot of japanese cities here should have chinese citinzes and cultute but it is imposible add them, even for developers
14:26 We all love RNG based combat in Civilization III :P
Hell yeah Suede
Bruh's been complaining about iron the whole video.... dude there is one shining deposit just north of Lanchow that your workers have been dancing around forever!
Professionals focus on logistics. (12:40)
26:56 1:01:44 Enemy airpower.
1:27:30 Pushing back.
Anybody know if there is a part 2?
Edit: Nevermind.

28:00 it is me or ai focus too much in strategic bombing instead of cas?
Very good video and you narrate it well, but trouble is you are too good of a player and go way too fast for us commoners to see all of what you are doing so could you slow down a bit?
I like this scenario, especially the bigger bombers near the end,, but wish it lasted longer and included more land mass and cities. I usually play as USA defending Hawaiian Islands..
Hi, I enjoy your vids a lot :) Do you have any suggestions for good fan-made civ 3 scenarios?
I don't, sorry.
go to the Civfanatics forums! There are tons there.
RE:voidling20. Here's a WWII one that looks good but I have not played it yet. A TON of units.

Hey Suede, can you post a video (or just leave a comment) showing how to play as the unplayable civs in conquest? I tried modifying the biq files in the conquest editor (both the conquest and civ-content versions) but everytime i load the game the scenarios remain unchanged.
What's the name of the scenario you're editing?
Is it something like 4 Middle Ages.biq, or 4 MP Middle Ages.biq?
Suede CivIII I’ve edited both of those and saved with all civs playable in the appropriate menu(s). In fact, no matter what changes I make the scenarios remain unaltered.
I know I’m in the right folder because I used a trick you showed in another other vid where you edit a configuration file to skip the intro.

Ok. One other possible thing that could be occurring is you have 2 copies of the game, one steam, one regular. Is that the case?
If not: try making some other change to the scenario and see if you can get it to show when you load the game. Like put a huge chunk of ocean in the middle of Europe or something.
Also, this video features me setting it up

16:18 here is the case when you have invisible units, and you ally step on them, attacking and causing a war among locked allies. You cant attack each other but neither negotiate
Im been tryna figure out your profile pic for weeks now what is that lol
I'm with you on that. It's album art from the album "In Ribbons". I think the picture is a bunch of fabric, but it might be a seashell? Whatever it is, it's pretty.
Suede CivIII lookin forward to the part 2
@@suedeciviii7142 it seems an "onion knight"
imho WW2 in the pacific is too easy because of how stupid the AI is
1:34:05 **Sweats profusely in russian orange**
I always play as China too in this scenario. To bad you cant play as the Dutch in Indonesia, i like to play as underdogs.
I do too! And you can! But it's kind of disappointing, your production is insanely low so you have no agency. Best you can do is pick off islands.
In my civ 3 this scenario starts from warriors, archers etc. lol, I can't product any modern army
Do you have civ 3 conquests or civ 3 complete?
@@suedeciviii7142 Complete.
@@rip9898 when you open up the game, select the "conquests" option. And you should have a choice of 10 scenarios :)
@@suedeciviii7142 it also starts from ancient era, so i dont know... You have some tanks, submarines, etc., but you can't produce new ones, only ancient warriors
its civ 3 gold edition
When's part 2?
Tonight if you want.
Suede CivIII yes please!!!
I always picked china for some reason on this one.
FLY HIGH
china? how easymode can you get? i said AUSTRALIA m8
Well, australia is very far away from action, china starts being attacked from the begining. In fact as japan, the faster way to win is conquer china
btw youll lose
