I too notice some irregularities with my system when I installed the drivers and asus's application software called Adrenalin. It makes the system quit laggy. I think that because this software are made for quite high performance pc. I also think that the drivers are conflicting with the already installed Intel graphics drivers (as I own a intel cpu based system). For the remedy, I simply uninstalled the radeon drivers and Adrenalin software, and my system runs smoothly since than as it was. But if you want your gpu and its drivers are to be properly updated than you've to live with this until they fix the problems.

And if you're looking for a more budget friendly gpu than I would say you can purchase the GT 1030 (2gb ram) but this only 400 INR cheaper than rx550. I think you should stick with rx500 because it can run GTA V smoothly (if you have descent pc system).
