@@Eh_Nope it's probably because clubbing and this whole genre of music was a lot bigger in the 2000s, ESPECIALLY in Germany most notably the Berghain which is a super exclusive club known for being the place to be a little hedonistic freak which ironically opened exactly 20 years ago
@@wishbone208 Well it wasn't. It was biggest in the 90's, but its way bigger now than in the 2000's. Not only in Germany but also for most of our neighbors. Also Berghain is pretty much known for bastardizing the genre and the scene. It's just the most famous one Internationally. Way more influential clubs for the German scene were for example the Dorian Grey (may it rest in peace) or the E-Werk.
