@warrcc c it wasn't about reading books exactly, just about paying attention and doing research on the statements and stories that you hear from politicians; making sure details if what they say are true. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to hear a Democrat politician rant about something, yet make no sense at the same time, it is about not being blindly loyal to a political party.
e.i. making sure to research with credible statistics by U.S. agencies themselves (fbi stats, World Health Organization stats, etc...) bypassing the corrupt "facts" of mainstream media... Seeing what crime rates really are, what economies really are, in Democratic ran states and cities; researching socialism and how it's killed 100s of millions worldwide. Stuff like that.

I swear I saw an article about 7 years ago entitled, "Obama accidentally told the truth about marijuana statistics; opposition group is furious." (Title from memory) (They were counting on him lying, and came unprepared, and lost the debate -- something like that.). What's more, it wasn't even clear whether or not it was a conservative or liberal source, as it seemed to attack the conservative position as well. Absolutely hilarious, surreal. Give me a margin of error, it's from memory.

The reboot of roseanne show was trash. What made the original great was the fact that they showed real lower middle class working family without all the politics. They touched on social issues but they didnt drown you in those issues. The reboot was centered around politics pure trash and Im glad they cancelled it. I also dont watch the conners because frankly its not funny. What ever magic they had with the original has been lost
They took off the reruns which I watched everyday. Now they came back on and I'm so glad. Lots of wisdom in the old show. I haven't and won't watch the one she was let go on.

But we can still pray for sinners, and not hate them, even if we can’t forgive. If a man comes home and beats his wife every night, should she forgive him? Only for him to come home the next night and do it again? She can love him, and pray for him, but God forbid she should forgive him, until he changes his ways.

alphagt62 God forgives even when we can’t forgive ourselves or others. Jesus said: “Father, forgive them , for they know not what they do.” ...as they nailed him to a cross. You forgive the abuser and pray for an awakening within him. Forgive him, and then LEAVE. Nobody should remain in an abusive situation. Forgiveness is much easier from a distance. Change doesn’t always come easy. For the abuser OR the abused.
