I constantly have to say that same sentence. I know what I mean even if you don't. Don't you tell me what I meant. I have to go through it all the time. it makes it hard to have any conversation so I don't have to talk to anybody anymore.
Cheryl King exactly....I think it’s important to let someone know that is how you feel either...I’ll have no issues with letting someone know I don’t NEED them to tell me what I meant...as well as letting the know I won’t let them tell me what I meant. This was a epic learn for me today. I wrote it down. I also think it is important to take responsibility for what you say. It irks me when someone says “oh, that’s not what I meant” when their words were perfectly clear. Sure, sometimes we botch up,our words and thoughts and that’s different. I’m talking about when someone starts back-peddling to cover their unkind, stupid (not ignorant which is excusable) or disagreeable. Thanks for encouraging the iidea to stand up for our own words.

I gave him a chance and saw my uneasy fellings I had about him were warrented. His secretary of state was the pits and all I saw was a narcissist filled with bs and only out for himself. His wife.....Can't stand to see her let alone listen to her. The couple that really divided the country. Too much of his father's teachings in him. He was a typical black African male. I miss Roseanne. Her show helped me through some hard times I had raising a family. She put a humorous tone to the dark side of family issues.... She was real, her TV family was the real family here in America. The Conner family was my family, they were my neighbors family, they were the people down the streets family.
