I love how you don’t go through and take everything, you only take bits from sections of the mushrooms, so they can still regrow or survive (i don’t really know how mushrooms work lol)
When I first saw pictures of these I thought they were noodles. 😅 Knowing that they are Mushrooms is amazing! I love Mushrooms and eat Portobello Mushrooms when I'm working frequently. Great as a snack or filling meal. 😁

No, you're right. As long as the mycelium, or "root" is in tact below the earth, the mushroom will grow back, much like grass or hair.

In Germany we have a similar one just in orange called Ziegenbart (goatbeard). The taste is a bit rubbery and bitter but overall very nice
