Pure class...one of the best covers ever done of any song...his voice is timeless, still sounds as good as ever, cant mistake it for anybody else, soon as you hear it you know who it is..
LEGEND!!!! Jose's music sends chills down my spine. I grew up with his stuff, n to this very day, he's everywhere; my phone, house n car. ♡♡♡ him. THE best!!!
last seen Jose 20 years ago at the Jazz Cafe. Going to see him with Jools in Glasgow this december. Jose was a god as far as my late dad who died in 91 was concerned but never actually seen him live. Gonna be a special night. A master of his craft and his music was always on in the house when I was a kid.
It’s a bridge over 50 years of life! - first hear and then again( lots in between) and life ( no matter the troubles) is / has been worth living! - thank you Jose!
Brilliant interpretation of the Doors classic single. I like how he made it acoustic and Latin flavored. Absolutely brilliant as well as his playing! A revelation!
52 años hace que escuché cantar por primera vez a este genio estratosférico y me atrapó de tal manera que no puedo dejar de escucharlo y de emocionarme una y otra vez. Gracias por existir, José.
Just like his cover version he recorded in 1968. Thanks for uploading. Robbie Krieger of The Doors, wrote this song (with minor assistance from Jim Morrison); Robbie likes Jose's rendition too.
Wonderful. I still love his singing and playing since I heard him first in the early seventies Remember the original: ruclips.net/video/AMCl9eOBlsY/видео.html
Stephen Boyer great point about his vocals...........very under appreciated and immensely soulful vocalist..........his virtuosic guitar playing overshadowed his voice.
With all the best technology at their disposal and the BBC sound engineers opt for DI piezo quack guitar... really? MIC IT UP MAN! For heavens sake...muppets.

Best cover ever.
He sounds amazing, his voice lights me up, I love it!
Jose, I have loved your music for years. You are a treasure.

Jools’s piano accompaniment with Jose was spot on.
This is classic music, I am inspired. No on but Jose can make this kind of music....

Paula Buchanan Most accomplished guitarists don't need to look at the fretboard anyway.
Oklahoma City, 4:50 am Sunday morning, driving home from another one night stand with a pretty girl, AM radio on, listening to this song. Heaven.

Jim would tell you. Well done...
Magic. The Doors owe Jose a lot...
I feel like I'm on a cruise ship in heaven.
Holy shit. Bends a whole chord at 1:53.
Seriously, I'm worried it's going to give me carpal tunnel syndrome just thinking about.

Jefe de Jefes.
Joyita!
Great chops not so much in this performance his phrasing and vocals very underrated in his heyday
Stephen Boyer underrated? Jose is comsidered a genius in any circle of conversation.
grouped into lounge/easy listening not listed with the guitar big guns that is what i meant.
btw he's more than 70s years old and this show was after a long tour of concerts around Europe and Asia...

Whhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuoooooohhaaaaaaaaa
FYAH BUN
Better than his every breath you take cover 😅
Wow that's an amazing version. Jools didn't need to cut in with his solo. Kinda ruined it there.
I watched José MURDERIG Sting...
I just saw it too, he wasn't looking well in that video, poor bastard.
En ingles es John Fogerty jaja!

.
Nobody comes anything remotely close to jim morrison and the doors!
Play too much 😱😱😱
Not as good as the “every breath you take” cover.
I really don't rate this guy, this and the police cover are absolutely awful. He's old fine, but call it a day buddy
JF, why do you want to ruin successful songs?
Personally, I like that version better than the original
