This is a TOTAL life saver! I have very thick and long hair and have never been able to have a sturdy bun without using two million hair pins and a LOT of hairspray now I have something that will stay up during ballet!
I was never able to do a bun for ballet class cause I have really curly and thick hair. Then I watched this video and the first time I tried it it worked! Thank you so much!
i always have struggled with my hair. it is about 3x as this as this girls. and my hair is all the way down to the bottom of my butt. i have always had to use a bun holder even with trying this method
I've been doing ballet for 2 months, and never officially learned how to do a bun with thick, curly, long hair. And this was super helpful! But I did add another hair tie just because my hair is THICK XD
I'd love to see a tutorial for making a ballet bun for Indian, thick hair. Like proper thick hair. Thanks for the video but her hair is thin compared to my daughters hair and I cannot get it flat.
One trick that works good is first make a smaller ponytail with a skinny hairband then gather the hair around to make a bigger ponytail. Then twist the hair around to make a bun and use a scrunchie or whatever method you want to hold the bun in place. The double ponytail keeps the bun from drooping down in the back.
One this probably wouldn't hurt as much as pointe shoes, and two this little girl hopefully is not on pointe shoes, it would be terrible if she was. Most of the time you have to be at 12 to even start training to get on pointe and around 14 is the usual. If she was on pointe her feet would be terrible and have permanent damage
My only comment would be to get a better colour match with the bun pins and hair. And of course hairspray and net to hold flyways if you wish the hair to stay in place during a whole ballet lesson!. Technique is good though.
well, i do my own ballet bun, it does not hurt. Only if one of the pins is poking my head. Its the same for when i have performances. Maybe her's hurts more, but it does not hurt for me.

Seriously. 4 minutes doing a bun and it's THAT neat. WOW. I usually take 1 hour to do my ballet bun for real.

If it is done right it shouldn’t hurt very much
@@jennathepig5672 nope. If it's done right, then it hurts A LOT. that's why I wouldn't let anyone touch my hair, I'd always do my own buns.
well, i do my own ballet bun, it does not hurt. Only if one of the pins is poking my head. Its the same for when i have performances. Maybe her's hurts more, but it does not hurt for me.
just accepted that I will never be able to put my hair in a bun
Do you even have thick hair if you don’t need 3 rubber bands for a ponytail? (It is a joke but I need 3 rubber bands for a ponytail)
This was pretty relaxing
I made it to the ponytail and that’s all I can get through my hair is too thick
